Los5782 Posted December 8, 2010 Author Posted December 8, 2010 how does my drive only support 2.4 writing when I'm explaining that I've previously wrote @ 4x speed with the same drive on this same computer,
LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Because that's what the drive clearly states it supports on MKM-003-00. Supported Write Speeds: 2.4x You can burn MKM-001-00 at 4x and 2.4x, but not the MKM-003-00 stuff. The drive only supports 2.4x on that.
Los5782 Posted December 9, 2010 Author Posted December 9, 2010 http://www.cdrinfo.com/sections/reviews/specific.aspx?articleid=12429 See that link above, it supports what I'm saying. & also I'm trying to explain that I have written on 4x speed b4 with this same exact drive
cornholio7 Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 when your drive was made , those discs weren't in production, if you want to burn faster using those discs then why not buy a new drive , because it clearly shows the only supported speed is 2.4x. a new drive will allow you to burn quicker and will cost about £20
LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Look at the firmware binary file (exe actually) in MediaCodeSpeedEdit, it supports what I'm saying.
