The best part was the cake! Got my favorite. It's a local store's creation called Death By Chocolate. It's two layers of chocolate cake separated by a layer of Twinkee filling and topped with chocolate icing.

It's partially eaten. I'll take a picture of what's left.

Actually, I can't take a picture of what's left. The battery cover broke off my camera while I was trying to swap out the dead rechargables for fresh recharables. Without the battery cover, two battery terminals won't complete poles. Therefore, the camera won't work. It's irreparable, so, I have to get a new one. Who knows if I'll have any cake left by then. This camera was a cheap piece of HP junk anyway. Only reason I got it 10 years ago was because it was on sale and had a scanner given away with it. I've hated using it ever since.

I also lucked out for my dinner yesterday. I got a birthday coupon from Captain D's for a free 2 piece fish dinner! All my meal cost me was $1.06 for the drink!

I also lucked out as far as getting a new digital camera went. I found one of Wal-Mart's Sanyo brands on sale. Was regularly $79.99 on sale at $69.99 with a further $10 reduction on another sale. So, with the memory card I had to get for it, I only paid just under $74 for it. Now, I've used Sanyo VCR's in the past and they're not top of the line products. But, it worked well enough for my needs.
