Here is the process - .mkv tsmuxer'ed to .m2ts to AVCHD file to play on ps3. I have tried this at auto and 2.4 speeds. This has worked flawlessly for reg DVDs for files under 4.7 gig (%100) with both "good" and "poor" quality discs. Now I've purchased some DLs for larger video files and every time: sound but no picture. No, they are not Verbatim (Falcon Media ... I know ... that sounds very cheap but supposedly not?), so that may be the problem, but since I am not getting any errors on the burn and there is still sound I am making sure it is not some setting that can be changed before I buy a different brand. And yes, I am a complete novice at this stuff, just been doing it for about a month. Here is the log for the latest:

This isn't an imgburn issue, the burn completed successfully and verified successfully. Imgburn does not do anything but burns your data 'as is.'

Check the source files. Do you have sound and picture when playing it in different media players?

Or it just could be the utility? Maybe an option you overlooked? Again sorry but this is not imgburn's issue.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, the source file does play on my computer in VLC. (I can play the stream from the BDMV folder just fine) I guess my questions would now be would a bad disc do this - say the burn is successful and then have no picture, consistently? Or does it sound like a setting issue?

Playing a single m2ts file is not the same as playing the disc as a whole (properly) in software that actually supports the BD Video format.

It's like playing a VOB file rather than playing the IFO (for DVD Video).

Your issues are still nothing to do with ImgBurn (or any of its settings).
