How do I make an ISO file from an exe file, to my hard disk?

Hello,

I want to convert an .exe file to an .iso file and have the .iso file stored in the same folder as the original .exe file. I do not want to burn a CD.

The reason is that I have an application which works only with ISO files to save these to a bootable USB Flash Drive.

I have tried the option "Create Image File from Files/Folders" but when I choose the .exe file that I want to convert, I get the message "There is nothing to build".

How can I convert this .exe file to an .iso file without burning to a CD?

Regards,

Hello,

I have worked out how to do this.

It is necessary to drag and drop the exe file to the "Drop Spot" (and not do File > Browse for a destination file).

You mean you drag+drop the exe to the 'Source' box.

Browsing for a 'Destination' file would be picking the location/name of the ISO you wish to create.

If it isn't (wasn't) already clear, 'Source' is the 'Input' and 'Destination' is the 'Output'.
