& probably a few of the rest of us, I'm trying out the latest beta version of Mozilla, it has a spell checker built in! Works well so far, auto runs whenever typing! Available for all to download a their site.

Not wild about the latest FF, most extensions are not compatible....yet. I do not like the spell checker that is built in, I like the spell check extension that I have better. Aarvark is another that is not compatible yet.

 

I have both but use my older 1.5 over the new beta.

Didn't like it - deinstalled it. The spull chicker was titally unintuitive. I'll stick with iespell.

As for auto-correcting, a recent Headline on Jay Leno pointed out the problems with this. Autocorrecting black for political correctness turned the phrases "black arm bands" and "black numbers on their jerseys" to "African American arm bands" and "African American numbers on their jerseys."
