First of all, post a full log of the burn not just a section of it.

Secondly, knock off the profanity and caps.  We're all adults here and try to treat all who need help as adults.

Just enable 'Force HyperTuning' and perform a 'Clear OPC History' operation. Then try again.

Oh and you can't burn at 2.4x so don't even bother trying. Put it on 4x and forget about it.

I got Asus 24B5ST, its not crossflashed. Does that have to do something with it?

Posted

yes, do what I said using the drive advanced settings screen - you want the LiteOn tab.

So after I crossflash my Asus burner, I should do this.

btw, I tried crossflashing but failed when I tried writting with Flash Utility. It gave an error and i had to exit.Burner couldnt eject for few hours then it continued working.

Posted (edited)

Doesn't it just work without crossflashing?

i dont knooow.

I though that, with BurnerMax Payload I could use burners (supported by Payload) that arent Ihas to burn discs. Now I bought a supported burner and still get the same error.I dont know what to do anymore...

How to perform Clear OPC history?

I installed recently the EEPROM Utility and I did enable Force hyper tuning,

The payload tool working and the drive being able to overburn nicely are 2 very different things. In my testing, they never seem to work unless the 'Force Hypertuning' option is available and enabled.

Click the 'Change Advanced Settings' little button/icon down the bottom right of the screen when you're in Write mode.

Switch to the LiteOn tab and everything I said earlier should become clear.

You must be over thinking things.

Can you not find the 'Change Advanced Settings...' button down the bottom right of the the Write mode screen in ImgBurn?

Write mode is what you go into when you click the 'Write image file to disc' button on the 'Ez Mode Picker' startup screen.

Once you've clicked that button, the 'Advanced Settings' screen will pop up. It's pretty obvious where the LiteOn tab it, it's got 'Lite-On' written on it.

I found it.

I clicked Lite On , Force Hyper tuning. So thats it?

Once you've enabled it and then done 'clear opc history' from the same 'advanced settings' screen, yes.

Alright so I go to that, go LiteOn, chose force hyper tuning and click ok. I go again, go LiteOn , chose Clear OPC history, ok and im done?

Posted

You don't just click 'ok', no.

You select what you want to modify/do (i.e. 'Force HyperTuning' or 'Clear OPC History') and then you pick the correction option in the 'New Setting' drop down box. Then you click the 'Change' button.

You should get a 'Success' prompt after each of them.

When you've done both, that's when you click 'OK'.

Alright I've done it.Im so scared to burn another disc....

Anything else in settings of imgburn or abgx or burnermax i should do or change?

Posted

Nope, ImgBurn's default settings work just fine.

Well, having said that, you'll want to make sure you're burning at 4x.

Dude, if this works, you're the greatest man alive...I will be so thankful.

I'll try tommorow.

If I ran the game trhou Abgx like 50 times, with different settings, and its all green, does it mean that game works 100% (that the error cant be game related)

And after I did this, clean OPC and Hyper Tuning, when I exit Imgburn will it be remembered, or do I have to do it again everytime I run imgburn.

They're drive settings and nothing to do with ImgBurn itself.

The drive should remember them internally.
