Ive tried "write files/folder to disc" write image file to disc" If you have a file (plays fine on computer) on your hard drive which one do you use? Thanks - p

Write image file to disc requires the image file be built first by Build or an existing image file from a Read. If you did Build the image files and tried to Write that image and still get device not ready, well, make sure you have a disc inserted in your burner first. If you still get a device not ready/media not present message, try shutting down Windows, powering off your computer, leave it powered off for say a minute (If your burner is an external one, shut off its power for a minute and power it back on.) Restart Windows and try again.

I select "create image file /build", assume this is ok not "write r and f to disc" I choose 5 files, accept imgburn title Get "operation successful' choose file Switch to write mode, Choose file 5 files burn. fine 5 files on disc, play fine from my tv Put disc in player - 3 files AFG ok MP4 NG? What does that mean folks? Thanks again. I haven't mentioned Sony + are ok _ not

LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Your drive is reporting that status, so it doesn't think there's a disc in it. If it can't see discs, try cleaning it with a cleaning disc.
