dbminter Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 On multiple layer video images, i believe the layer break is set so that no file spans across different layers per the standard. Correct me if I'm wrong. But what about with data images that aren't video? If you have a file that is too large to fit on the first layer, will part of it be on the first layer and part on the second layer? Or will the file be written only to the 2nd layer where there's full space for it?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 There's nothing wrong with spanning the layer change and no attempt is made to keep a file just in one layer. Files on DVD video discs do span them too.
