I'm doing it wrong - EAC, non-compliant .cue sheets, and FLAC

I used an old tutorial at what appears to now be a dead link to set up EAC to burn supposedly very accurate rips in FLAC format. The way I understand it is that it is adding gaps to the end of the files and the .cue sheets are also the "non-compliant" .cues that are formatted this way. To my understanding it might not actually matter if the .cue sheet organization corresponds to the gap organization because the burn just assembles one long stream of data, and the cue sheet indicates where 'tracks' are supposed to start and end. Either way, I swear at one time I could just slam that .cue sheet into ImgBurn and it would roll, no issues. Now that doesn't seem to be the case. I've tried burning 3 different CD's that I had ripped this way and none of them seem to work in standard CD players (I've used two separate CD players).

 

When burning the verification completes with no errors and the Music seems to all be there and playable, its just that track markings seem to be way wrong, so I'm thinking it's an issue with how ImgBurn interprets the .cue sheet. Attached are the .cue sheet and the EAC log from my original 'rip'. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

Load the cue into ImgBurn and click the little 'image information' button in the source box.

 

Take screenshots of the window that pops up so you capture everything (it scrolls) and post the for me to look at please.

 

The log of the burn and verify attempt would help too.

Thanks lightning, I had no idea that Image information button existed. Unfortunately it looks to my eyes to be right.

 

Well, attached are the images and logs you requested. Oddly enough the log file shows that my system is windows 8. It has been upgraded to windows 10... if that maters.

Ok so now load one of the burnt discs in Read mode, press the media info button and see if it looks anything similar to what you posted earlier.

BTW, the Windows 10 returning as Windows 8 is a known "issue."  It's nothing to be concerned about and will be addressed when ImgBurn is next updated.

Below are the output of the media info button. It looks quite similar to me, though there are some differences. For kicks I also put in the Original CD that I made the copy from. This looks quite different. I guess in the end I'm trying to find a method to "rip" a CD to FLAC for listening but still be able to reproduce the original CD from that. Am I going about this the wrong way?
