bodil
Hi all, I recently created an iso file using image burn. During the build stage I was not asked to specify layer breaks and no mds file was created. When I try to burn Imgburn says there is not enough room on the disk (see attached screenshot). When I insert a dual layer disk Imgburn says I don't need a dual layer disk as it should fit on a single layer disk. I am using DVD+R Verbatim single layer disks. I have burnt 100s of discs and this is the first time I have got this error. Many thanks Bodil
LIGHTNING UK!
Use a DVD-R.
bodil
I did read somewhere that DVD-r hold a bit more than DVD+r however the only info I could see in Imgbrn related to +R. Is there no way you can specify Imgburn to build an iso for DVD+r? I know that would mean using a dual layer but I don't want to bu a DVD-r when a have a few spindles of +Rs and dual layers. LIGHTNING UK!
Yes, on the 'Media' tab... Which you'll find on the 'Advanced' one.
dbminter
If it's a DVD Video disc, use DVDShrink to shrink it by 1% and it should probably fit.
