My liteone ihas 524 drive is giving me preference not found and medium not present why

I have a problem with my drive it is giving me error message saying preference not found or medium not present. I think this is happened when I pressed the cancel button during burning I don't know is my drive damaged. when I restart my computer and reinstall image burn, it works great I can burn any disk but when I put another disk in preference not found can anyone help

You may have some luck with, after you burn 1 disc, shutting down Windows, powering off, and leaving it powered off for a minute.  Then, restart.  This will cycle the power to the drive.  In fact, doing it just once may solve the issue all together.  Sometimes a simple power cycle will fix odd issues like this.

Try cleaning the drive.

 

Failing that, buy a new one.
