they have to be as good as any of the tickets I've played .I bought some Chinese take away about a month ago and in the fortune cookies they have those little messages, lucky #'s and basic chinese words wouldn't you know it 4 of the 6#'s on the slip were part of the next days winning lottery #'s .Did I play of course not

Unfortunatly, the max the numbers go up to in NZ is 40. So noone in NZ is going to win the lottery with those numbers.

I did a couple of times but then decided that they would hardly be unique and if they won there would probably be 100's of winners

You win the ?15 million lottery with the LOST numbers, only to find 50,000 other feckers did the same and you walk away with practically nothing!

My thoughts exactly, there has to be hundreds if not thousands of people playing those numbers, and yeah the 14,863,768* to 1 chance of me winning and then my numbers come up , I would then think oh crap I've won a tenner.

they reckon the worst combination of numbers to use is 1,2,3,4,5,6 . IF they came out there would be hundreds/thousands of winners , so i use 2,3,4,5,6,7

In the bosses example above I would have ended up with ?300 for a jackpot win, you would probably end up with pennies....

I've won 8 million virtual dollars from Deal Or No Deal by picking either case 6 or 9. Six because it's been my favorite number, 9 because of how September 9th always fucks me over. And, I also know if I ever got on the show, if I picked 6, it would have a penny and 9 would have the million. Or vice versa. Because, guess what? That actually DID happen a few weeks ago.

What's not to understand? Unless the UK version is vastly different, you pick a box at random, and hope you've got an ass load of dosh in it. Or, you sell it for an asser load.

I saw it once a while back - seems really slow and lame to me - the old codger playing took 60 mins to win a couple of hundred quid, talk about cheap bloody game show !
