Hello,

I recently tested a mdisk 100GB bd xl and burn 96GB with the following settings

data type:mode1/2048

file system:UDF

UDF revision:1.02

I used burn files to disk in the wizard

i use LG WH14NS40

imgburn read the space on the disk correctly and burn 96gb on the disk with 0 errors.

My question is should I use udf revision 2.60 instead?

It probably doesn't make a massive difference, but 2.50 / 2.60 is 'normal' for BD media and it's what I'd use now for most things that don't require a different version (i.e. DVD Video - 1.02).

There's probably somewhere you can read about the differences between 1.02 and 2.50 / 2.60. The latter ones have a bit more redundancy in case of errors within the filesystem descriptors themselves.

I always use UDF 2.60 for everything except DVD Video, which I accept ImgBurn's default changes for when I add a VIDEO_TS folder to the root directory of a Build job.  And I guess whatever options are automatically set when you use ImgBurn to convert audio container files to a CD Audio.
