ssdd
Tried to burn some verbatim 16x dvd+r with imgburn on a pioneer 109. It writes all the data to 100%, but when its going to finalize, it stops on 0%, any idea what can be causing this problem ?
Shamus_McFartfinger
A full logfile would help alot. I have 2 109s here which work just dandy with Taiyo Yuden and Ritek media.
LIGHTNING UK!
Anything about closing tracks, sessions, discs etc is all down to the drive. As you're normally right at the edge of the disc at this point, it's the most prone to failure. As Shamus said, the 109 and ImgBurn DO work ok together. Things to check are that you're running the latest firmware and you have decent media.
kevdriver
ssdd, if you are editing the material your burning before using IMG, maybe preset the output size of your files to say 4450 instead of the standard 4.7. This will complete the burn before hitting the outer edge of your blank media. Some editing or shrinking proggies allow you to do this. This may solve your hanging on finalizing probs. lfcrule1972
Yeah DVD Shrink allows you to do this. I had a spindle of blank discs that were having problems at the outside edge so I just decreased the output size and was able to live with the extra compression.
