Hi

i have tried to burn a cd increasing the buffer , in the preferences ->build -> page 2-> read buffer size 512

 

but in the log there is always 80mb why?

but may i know the meaning of ->build -> page 2-> read buffer  ?

does it mean when i create a data dvd ,  it does use only 80mb to load the data in the ram before buring or something else?

It's a buffer used for when reading the files from the source location.

The files have to be read and processed, building up the file system that then gets written to the disc in nice little disc sector sized chunks (via the I/O buffer I mentioned before).

So it's an input buffer rather than an output buffer.
