meadrocks Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 I'm running Fedora Core 6 w/ VMware Server 1.0.2. I installed XP SP2 in a VM, installed the latest Imgburn. However when I put in a blank dvd, it says Device Not Ready (Medium Not Present). I'm using MS SPTI. Any idea how I can get around this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
mmalves Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Disable SPTI - Use 'CdRom' Class in ImgBurn's I/O settings. Doing this seems to help in simulated environments.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 your drive doesn't think there's a disc in it - or at least that's what it's reporting.
wild77 Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Have you tried Wine instead of VMware I have had very good results with ImgBurn with Wine on Ubuntu 6.10. I tried VMware and did not like it. Some Windows programs actually seem to preform better under Wine than they do under Windows.
