There's no good playing on - you must lose a piece, possibly 2.

Go back a move and play Qc7

I think so. After you played NxB, QxN, Pe5, Rb8, PxN I'm a piece down...

Thanks for putting me straight and sorry I can't give you a better game...

Not quite. After Qe8, I play e5. If you try h6, I play NxB+. If you try QxN, exf6 leads to rapid demise.

So, you try something else. d5 is best, when either Qg3 or simply PxN is sufficient.

Now, what you have played (h6) loses immediately to Bxh6 (see the Q on g3?). You could defend with Ne8 but would be lost. You need to play b5 now :)

Nighty night.

Yes, it means castle long.

Things are gunna get awful tense along the g3-c7 diagonal now. Play carefully.

It's called removal of the defender (plus I needed to clear the way).

I must have screwed up again. I have your rooks on d1 & h1 with my bishops on e7 & b7. I've played through the game from the start and can't find the error...

No, you're right. I missed a move I was gunna make.

This one.

Shows what happens when you're moving bits around :)

Sorry, I meant Nf-d7 (to protect the other N) and not trade the B.

Anyways, bad move.
