righteous Posted August 13, 2007 Share Posted August 13, 2007 greetings Burners, i have an iso file. the file contains 2 folders (1. VIDEO_TS 2. AUDIO_TS). These 2 folders are from a dvd (vidoe, audio, menus, extras). what i need help with is this : i would like to create a working dvd which will play on my dvd player (excluding my computers dvd player). i know i either have to burn the iso or extract the 2 folders and burn those. ive tried to make a dvd with ImgBurn but it only plays on my dvd. i used a dvd+rw disc. ------------------------------------------------------- what method should i use? which disc type? why didnt the disc i made play on my dvd player (not comp) please help me thank you to everyone in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can however fool it into thinking the disc is a normal DVD-ROM disc. Before you burn, click the 'Change booktype' button (a small picture of a book to the right of the copies dropdown). Choose your drive brand, then click 'Change for' and choose DVD+RW, then for 'New setting' choose DVD-ROM. digidragon Posted August 13, 2007 Share Posted August 13, 2007 Well, apparently your durabrand can play DVD+RWs. Maybe it's the brand of disc it doesn't like. We don't sit on the forum refreshing the page every minute just in case someone's posted. Now that's out of the way... Can you not try burning to something other than that DVD+RW? Physical Format Information (Last Recorded):Disc ID: CMC MAG-W01-00 Book Type: DVD-ROM Were the other DVD+RW's you burnt booktyped to DVDROM? Maybe your player doesn't like it when they're like that. Change it back to DVD+RW by going into the booktype screen, selecting RICOH, selecting 'Current Media (For DVD+RW Media)' in the drop down list and then DVD+RW in the 'New Setting' list.
