I'm using the correct Verbatim 2.4x DL made in Singapore yet the burn won't go past the "writing leadin" stage when i get an I/O error. I also just updated to the newest firmware for my writer. I'm trying to burn a game which is why I'm using DL. Funny thing is I used IMGBurn succesfully for two movies using a dvd+r. I'm new and I still have not been succesful burning a game. Since I am now shopping for a new drive would you say it would be wise to buy the samsung model that also reads the 360 games? Or does that one not burn well either?
