KISSMAD
If I select to write the DVD at 1x, it writes at 4x. I'm using Imgburn 1.1.0.0. How do I fix it so that it writes at 1x?
cornholio7
does the media or the drive support 1x?
polopony
you probably can't write at 1x .I havent seen 1x support for media or drives since dvd burning first started .Theres nothing wrong with writing at 4x all the stuff I've burned at 4x in the past plays fine just use quality media .By todays standards 4x is slow although I burn everything at 6x these days

If it's burnt at 1x, this does not happen.

LIGHTNING UK!
Just look at the 'Supported Write Speeds'. Does it list 1x? If not, you're out of luck.
