DanCar Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 I have a decrypted blu-ray transport stream that I would like to burn into a blu-ray compatible disc. What program do I use to create a blu-ray compatible file system? Thanks, Daniel
volvofl10 Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 what exactly do you mean by blu ray transport stream ?, do you mean a .TS file the same as you get off a PVR recorder ?

LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Why would you join the ImgBurn forum and post this kind of question in the ImgBurn Support section?! Surely you'd at least be using ImgBurn wouldn't you?

LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Drag the BDMV folder to the 'Source' box in Build mode and then click 'Write'.
DanCar Posted September 22, 2008 Author Posted September 22, 2008 (edited) Drag the BDMV folder to the 'Source' box in Build mode and then click 'Write'. I don't have a BDMV folder. I have a file with a .m2ts extension. Tried the other programs and none worked: starburn, Express burn, and FinalBurner. Edited September 22, 2008 by DanCar
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Use tsmuxer to make the proper bd layout then. You're not inventing the wheel here, I'm sure there are guides for this on Google if you search. The Doom9.org forums must be full of the stuff.
volvofl10 Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 I was going to say ImgBurn is on the list in the link you posted , wanted to be sure you didnt have to encode the file first

I searched (googled) and read for several hours trying to find the answer. My search terms were obviously not the right thing. I was searching for burn and blu-ray. Lot of what I read said to use ImgBurn. Edited September 22, 2008 by DanCar
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Yes, that's correct. You use ImgBurn for the actual burning part... but you only do that once you've got a proper set of file to burn.
