Seamless Layer Breaks and DVD players that don't support them

When enabling the Seamless Layer Break, ImgBurn warns about how you need to make sure your DVD player supports them. So, I was wondering: what exactly would happen if you tried to play a seamless layer break enabled DVD in a player that does not support them? What would happen when the player reaches the layer break?

Thanks!

So far, I have yet to hear of a player that won't play a SLB. And the existence of "superbit DVDs" which had SLB on them seems to indicate that SLB is a very safe option.

While we're on the subject, if any is still following this thread :) is there a way to determine whether a particular DVD+R DL that's already been recorded has seamless layer breaks on it or not?

Yes. Copy the IFOs to a folder and open in PgcEdit. DOuble click on the main movie - this will be easily appearent by its length. If there is a SLB, all the little boxes will be checked. If not, one will be unchecked (the one at the layer break cell).
