  1. I don't know if there is a best one out there. The one listed in the Audio CD guide works well and should be enough.
  2. The verify function does nothing to the burn quality. It just assure you the disc is readable. It is advised to let it enabled so you know the disc can be read back properly (at least in that drive).
  3. In my opinion the only item that can go there would be "Clear MRU list" "Add all" don't have a valid point when the list is too big. I don't understand the "Add & Remove" logic.
  4. If the file is 7 GB, you need double layer disc. Make sure it's DVD+R DL.
  5. With that much information I don't think you'll get some help. Give us more info about the warnings, get some screens and maybe someone could help you. Remember, Google can help you too.
  6. Try the other write speeds available. 4x may not be the right speed for that disc in that drive.
  7. Your drive is old and not very like the new media. On top of that you are using low quality discs. As you can see in the log, verify failed. Try a cleaning disc in that drive if you have acces to any. Try some better quality discs. Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden are recommended. Get a new drive. Also update ImgBurn to current version.
  8. Do you verify your burns? Read the pink box above and post a log, please.
  9. The verify option is there to make sure the drive can read back what it just wrote. If it pass the verify at least that drive can read it. Other drives can be more picky at reading it. Your friend's drive can be one of those. The logs are saved automatically. Look in Help menu.
  10. I'm tying to get who's gonna come off the big loser here...
  11. You have not downloaded that files from ImgBurn official mirrors. Currently only SetupImgBurn_2.5.8.0.exe is officially available for download.
  12. Late to the party? Happy Birthday to You!
  13. The b57udiag ISO should already be bootable. You don't need to do anything special. Just burn the iso to disc using "Write image file to disc" To check it is bootable look in the source file info at line File Sys: after loading the file to burn.
  14. I would blame the quality of the new media.
  15. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922976
  16. Your car may have a built in Gracenote recognition technology, usually it's in the navigation system.
  17. If you can't manage to make it work on Marvell controller with updated drivers, move the drive to Intel's port.
  18. Did you tried switch the ports? Replace one with the other, see how it works. Make sure they are both on the motherbord primary chipset not on some third party chipset controller.
  19. Tools > Settings... > Device > Eject Tray After...
  20. Try other speeds supported. Power Calibration Area Error indicates that your drive can't find a laser calibration power suitable for that media burning at 4x.
