Create ISO Image to Hard Disk

Aplogies if ImgBurn already does this but:

I use ImgBurn under W2K as a convenient and reliable way to burn ISO images to disc. These are usually downloads of LINUX images, etc.

It would be nice if the reverse could take place, insert the OS disc and create an ISO Image to hard disk. This would be useful for long term archiving, CDROMs are not to be relied upon for long term storage, or for mounting with say Daemon Tools or as VMware CDROM images.

I think you mean there WILL BE.... (it's not out yet!)

It's just a very basic one that'll let you read DATA CDs and DVDs to an ISO image.

 Bugger - sorry boss....... I will break out the new sticks of celery and beat myself with them immediately.....

I had a couple of samsung drives on order from scan but they let me down and I've had to cancel my order and get them from elsewhere.

I want them before I release the new one so I can try and tweak the samsung book type setting code.

So yeah, as lfc said, it'll be out when it's ready ;)
