  1. DVD-R DL aren't really good for anything. Use DVD+R DL.
  2. You can't, the command line stuff doesn't support wildcards or provide any means of filtering the source selection.
  3. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  4. It means the drive is having trouble finding a suitable (power) setting for the laser - in order to get a decent burn. Are you quite sure you've always used 'MBI 01RG40' discs? The brand name stamped on them doesn't mean anything. Have you tried the other supported write speeds? How about cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc?
  5. Turn off 'perform opc before write'. Turn off 'overspeed' on the drive. Re-enable the 'verify' option so you can actually see if the burnt disc is 100% readable. Perform a 'clear opc history' on the drive. When you've done all that, try again.
  6. Aaahh it's just a cosmetic issue due to the 'null' thousands separator. Consider it fixed.
  7. Post the log from the failed burn please. Also, try looking for some updated nvidia drivers for your motherboard chipset / OS combo. It makes no sense that it wouldn't be able to lock the drive is everything was working as it should be and nothing else is using the drive. It's quite a low level OS function that's failing.
  8. Sorry, I don't know what to say. It works fine here - and I even tried it on XP SP3. Everything I drag from the Explorer pane into the lower pane ends up having exactly the same file size displayed. I tried with several files, some less than 4GB in size, some more than 4GB in size.
  9. That isn't what I asked for... sorry. Can you try again please?
  10. Try cleaning your drive with a cleaning disc.
  11. Right click the drive selection box and click 'Family Tree'. Close the prompt and then copy + paste everything from the Log window please. btw, being unable to lock the drive isn't a show stopper, just click 'Continue'. You could also try again when you've booted Windows into 'Safe Mode'.
  12. You'd need mode1/2048 for DVD too. It's only CDs that can make use of the other option. As for the file system version, that's really your choice. v2.50 is a good match for BD discs though I guess.
  13. Nope, you can't do that. Read mode reads every sector and writes it out to a file on the hdd. You could probably do what you're after using a fairly simple batch file and some sort of app that can make the nimbie eject the disc and insert the next one (I don't remember if such a thing actually exists).
  14. Try and avoid the cheaper 'LTH' ones too if possible.
  15. Did you try cleaning your drive as suggested ages ago? The drive is reporting issues when it tries to burn to the discs so it's something between your drive/firmware/media combo. If the proper MKM-003-00 discs don't work, get a new drive. I've yet to see a log of your G: drive with the original RICOH discs. Forget about the UME ones.
  16. It does for rewritable discs.
  17. The commands used have been around for years and haven't changed. What happens if you just add 1 of those files? Which ones are giving the image any sort of size? What do they show up as in Explorer (or Build mode's 'Disc Layout Editor') ? Can I assume nothing is being written to the log window about any of them? Make sure you keep the log window visible at all times.
  18. Correct. No. You just don't have the good ones. Exactly. You have one of the cheapo MIDs there. You want / need proper Verbatim DVD+R DL discs using either the MKM-001-00 or MKM-003-00 MIDs.
  19. If your drive just keeps failing to burn the discs there might not be much you can do. Try changing the write speed. Taiyo Yuden CDs would be better than Verbatim ones. Posting the log would help.
  20. Try with an updated firmware. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Lite-On/iHAS120%2B6/files.html Your drive isn't listing a leadout for the first session in the TOC. Here's what it *should* look like...
  21. Neither DirectShow or ACM can decode that file on my Windows 7 PC so I guess your tagging software is messing it up.
  22. There must be a reason for it doing that, there's no bug with it afaik - and the current version has been out for *ages*.
  23. 'UMEDISC-DL1-64' isn't a good Verbatim MID. It should be MKM-001-00 or MKM-003-00. It seems you got some 'value' line ones. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  24. When you're in 'Read' mode with that disc in the drive, please copy + paste everything from the disc info box on the right. Thanks.
