  1. It already fills out the destination file name based on the volume label you've entered on the 'Labels' tab. It's not going to get any more intelligent than that.
  2. Please copy+paste all of the disc info from the panel on the right when you're in 'Write' mode with one of the problem discs in the drive.
  3. Normally it's round the other way... DVD-R will hold more than DVD+R (and DVD+RW)
  4. Thanks for reporting back. I look forward to your next informative post.
  5. Go into 'Build' mode. Then, in the 'Input' menu at the top, just select 'Advanced'
  6. You can't unless you manually pick and choose folders to add to each disc. Use 'Advanced' input mode (if you aren't already), it should make things easier.
  7. That would be hard considering it's a CD-ROM and incapable of writing anything.
  8. I've tried but am unable to reproduce this error - I even tried it with a DVR-219L FW: 1.01 to match your own (I don't have a PX-755A). Do you have any other Enhanced CDs you could test it with?
  9. Do you actually have the original CD? If it burnt and verified ok, there's really nothing more we can do. If the source image was right in the first place, it should work fine. I've no idea of the disc is copy protected or not - ones that are obviously won't copy correctly. I also have no idea what the disc is supposed to do / look like when you try and run it.
  10. We need to see the log of you burning and verifying the disc.
  11. So it could be something else running in the background when you boot into 'normal' mode that's causing it to crash... maybe some sort of AV software or whatever.
  12. No idea, sorry. Boot into safe mode, does it still crash when you close it?
  13. Your drive is reporting a 'Write Error' whilst trying to burn those 'RITEK-S04-66' discs. You should have already looked at this post ( http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 ) and done what it recommends (but it appears you haven't). So... update your drive's firmware - http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/SH-S203B/files.html - and try the other bits mentioned in it.
  14. Your drive seems unable to (reliably) burn the 'CMC MAG. AM3' discs at 4x, try again at 8x. Notice that the speed you selected (6x) isn't even an option for your drive/firmware/media combo. If it still fails to burn them at that speed, invest in some better discs (Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden). You could also try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc. For the double layer media, I hope you followed this... http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  15. So long as you're doing steps 8 - 13, that's all that matters.
  16. AFAIK, the modified firmware applies the size changes to all DVD+R DL media... so I wouldn't blame the media for it not doing so. I don't know what to tell you. ImgBurn offering truncate/overburn means the firmware isn't doing its job and reporting a larger available capacity.
  17. Have you tried all of the speeds the drive claims to support on those discs? Have you tried better quality discs? (Verbatim / Taiyo Yuden) Have you tried cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc? If you have, yes, the drive is probably toast - but that's not bad considering it could be 8 years old now almost.
  18. Yes, anything without copy protection on it will be fine to just read in Read mode and then write in Write mode. You won't have to change any settings.
  19. Ok, so you do actually have a disc! That's what I could have sworn you said you had in the first place (perhaps you edited your post to take that out? - making my post look a bit stupid!). People say all kinds of rubbish on the internet, you can't believe everything you read If it's a CD disc, ImgBurn will be able to make a copy of it via the Read and Write modes.
  20. An ISO has no way of being a multisession ISO, it doesn't and can't contain the info required to reproduce such a disc. That's where other disc image formats come in. So I have to ask, what do you actually have?! If you have a multisession CD image that ImgBurn actually supports (no DVD ones are), ImgBurn should be able to burn it and produce a multisession (but finalised) disc. It doesn't matter if what you start with is a multisession image or not, once ImgBurn has burnt it, the disc will be finalised and you won't be able to add more to it - with any software.
  21. Try with the media I recommended in the first place. If it fails with that, get yourself another drive.
  22. Read here - http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=20674
  23. Maybe you got a bad spindle of discs (find some made in Singapore) or your drive isn't up to scratch. Those settings worked fine for me in testing.
  24. Normally you'd use Read mode and then Write mode if you want to copy a disc. But of course commercial Blu-ray films are copy protected so that won't work.
  25. Ok but obviously it has a problem with them now or you wouldn't be here. Maybe cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc would help.
