  1. There's only 1 ImgBurn.exe file so portable vs normal shouldn't be an issue. The filename should be in quotes if there are any spaces in the path - and the path should be fully qualified (not 'relative' to something). This... ImgBurn.exe "c:\folder\image.iso" ... should work just fine.
  2. Are you trying to burn it with the intention of backing it up? The .ISO file extension will work for raw files but they need to be a multiple of 2048 bytes in size.
  3. Did you try posting in their forum? It's got to be harder for them to ignore it in there!
  4. Even just without the /src would work. It's coded to handle that so you can drop an ISO on the ImgBurn.exe file (or a shortcut to it)
  5. If you're just playing AVI files straight off a disc, no. If you convert them to DVD Video format (using 3rd party tools) then you'll be able to have a menu. This is more a 'feature' of your player than anything. Maybe there's a setting on it to stop auto playing the first file it finds?
  6. Does it really hang on that by itself or is it hanging on something else and you're then trying to close the program, at which point it makes it look like it's hanging on terminating the interface thread? The 'un-forced' message in the status bar is crucial here. Can you copy + paste everything from the log window (having completed a burn+verify) please? Please also take a screenshot so I can see exactly where it's up to. That fact you're saying you can't get the disc out leads me to believe it hasn't finished the burn properly - because the drive tray gets unlocked *before* the 'operation successfully completed' box pops up.
  7. You can't do that I'm afraid. TMT must be really strict with AVCHD on DVD. As I mentioned earlier, you're probably better off just asking them what works and what doesn't (or rather why it doesn't!).
  8. You're probably looking in the wrong place - only optical drives show up in Source/Destination boxes. The place to extract the boot image from a floppy/cd is in Build mode -> Advanced tab -> Bootable Disc tab. The extracted boot image is NOT an ISO. If you want to put it into an ISO then that's an extra step you'll have to take (the program will prompt you to auto fill out certain fields based on what it has extracted) using Build mode.
  9. Does it have a drive letter? Normally it would just get assigned A: So you'd poing the 'Extract Boot Image' feature at the A: drive and then save the boot image (which is basically a sector by sector copy of the floppy disc) to a file. You may have to make sure the drive/disc are present and working before switching to the 'Bootable Disc' tab as the drop down box is populated when the tab is selected.
  10. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 try this firmware update here - http://www.firmwarehq.com/HP/dvd640b/files.html Your drive is over 6 years old though so it probably still won't properly / fully support the discs you're trying to use.
  11. The disc is unreadable in your drive (dirty / scratched / low quality burn). Try it in another drive if possible or just move onto the next disc.
  12. Why did you try and Quick Erase a BD-R in your first post? It failed because it's not something you're supposed to do. You should install Service Pack 1 for Windows 7. You should update ImgBurn to the current version - 2.5.7.0 as of this time. Your drive has produced a bad burn on that disc by the looks of it, try another one. You could also try it at the other 'Supported' write speeds (6x and 8x). If continues to fails, consider buying something other than 'PHILIP-R04-000' MID/dye discs.
  13. That thread tells you some things you can try with your current media, it's not all about buying Verbatim discs (although that is the main purpose of it). edit: snap

  15. Max would be 10x, as you can see from the line I quoted in my previous message. If 4x isn't working anyway, trying something faster can't really be any worse! I've found the PL01 firmware posted here - http://club.myce.com/f142/liteon-ihbs112-212-12x-bd-rw-313469/index8.html#post2612900 You could flash the BIN file using C0deKing's flash utility. http://club.myce.com/f44/flash-utility-plds-liteon-based-optical-drives-v6-0-1-new-190420/
  16. Use the feature in ImgBurn's Tools menu. You could have use that for the .DVD file too.
  17. Oh hang on, what are you actually trying to do, burn an Audio CD? At the moment, you aren't doing that, you're just backing up 19 files onto a disc. If you want an Audio CD, read the Audio CD guide! http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=5555
  18. Well I'm sorry but I don't have an answer for you then. Your drive is reporting the disc has (discs have) been used and I can only go by what it's telling me. On the off chance it's a 3rd party programming messing things up, boot into Safe Mode and see if the drive still reports the same thing. You might also like to try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc.
  19. Well if you've tried all of the discs on that spindle, you'll have to get another (different) one. Maybe your drive just doesn't like 'CMC MAG-D03-64' discs.
  20. Forget that disc for now, try another one.
  21. As you can see, 2x isn't an option so it would be pointless to try it. I can't tell you what the actual problem is, just that there is one (and you already know that). Something about your drive/firmware/media combo is (now) producing bad burns. If possible try some discs from a different spindle - ideally one using a different MID/dye. If there's a generic problem with the PL04 firmware and 'PHILIP-R04-000' MID/dye, tell LiteOn about it so they can fix it in PL05 or whatever. You don't need Opti Drive Control to be free right now, you can test it for 30 days or whatever.
  22. It looks like you've already tried (and possibly failed) to burn that disc. What happens if you try another one from the spindle?
  23. Click the 'Download' link in the blue bar at the top of the main website, then pick from 1 of the 7 available mirror sites. Where and how you download ImgBurn hasn't changed in years.
  24. Open the program, go into Write mode (use the 'Mode' menu at the top or click the 'Write Image File To Disc' button). Make sure you've inserted the problem disc in the drive and copy + paste all the disc info text that's been written to the box on the right of the main window. You really can't miss it! Obviously you're pasting it into a reply here on the forum so I can see what it says.
  25. Oh well if they're 90 minute discs you'll be fine. To the program, they don't look any bigger than normal 80 minute discs, hence the warning. So just click 'OK'
