  1. I'm a black sharpie man myself. It's a backup, after all and you can't see the pretty disk while it's in the cover/spindle or playing. Regards
  2. A combo of VobBlanker and PgcEdit or DVD Remake Pro. Or if you don't care about menus, use DVD Shrink in re-author mode. Regards
  3. Just cos you copied it to your desktop and chucked it up on Imageshack doesn't mean it's yours!!! Plagiarist!!! Regards

  7. For a data file, it matters not at all if it spans the LB. It is down to the quality of the burn (pressing in this case). If needs be, you can make an ISO with a file with null data to pad out layer 0. Test with ISOBuster to see that the LBAs match. Regards
  8. Grow up!!! Regards
  9. Belated HB Jill. That crule fella stole my gif, as usual. Hope you had a great day. Regards
  10. Visualising ..... If something is spinning around at a constant speed, (lots) more bits can be placed on the outer than the inner in the same amount of time. IE. Write (and read) rate gets higher as you move to the outside of the disc. Regards
  11. Especially since I'm away and can't read this thread. Regards
  12. Just love the title of this thread!!!! Regards
  13. If that doesn't work - try ISOPuzzle. Regards

  15. LOL, it doesn't crash, but it has to be "just right". LUK! doesn't release betas. This has been discussed many times before. Regards
  16. We broke the number of betas record well before XMAS guys - not that that helps people who wanna try all this new stuff. Regards
  17. Acronyms? Did I hear acronyms? DILLIGAF about acronyms? Regards
  18. Please post the full log. And you don't need the IO debug log (which you pressed F8 to get to). Regards
  19. And throw out the -R DLs. The whole format is screwy. Even setting the layer break properly is real hit and miss. Regards
  20. They have almost double the space of a normal DVD-5 and so can fit more data on them. If you are backing up movies, you can fit a whole movie on them, uncompressed. Or you might like to fit 2 (shorter) movies on them. Regards
  21. It uses ffmpeg and Mencoder. It's extremely versatile, producing H264, divx, MPEG (all #s) encodes - in fact it converts just about anything into anything. It also can take advantage of AVISynth scripts, which is a real bonus. You need to just take a bit of care about the codecs installed - make sure they don't clash. Video codecs - http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPERsnap3.html Audio codecs - http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPERsnap4.html Regards
  22. Well, it's a good program. SUPER even. Worth some time investigating it Regards
  23. I'm not if I mentioned SUPER in this thread. Just try to download it though Regards
  24. Your "slow" problem is related, most likely, to DMA issues. Fix your DMA - see link in my signature. Burn with ImgBurn is on my context menu when I right click an ISO. Try Tool-Settings-Registry and click on Defaults. Maybe a registry key got messed up. Failing that, uninstall and reinstall. Regards
