  1. It should almost be a rule these days. Check the UDF FS. I mean, how does it hurt? Regards
  2. If you want to use AnyDVD, you must disable it before verifying. It gets in the way of the verification process and throws up false errors. Sucks, I know. Other than that, we can't discuss decrypting on this forum. Regards
  3. Sounds like the drive has had it. CDs burn at a different focus than DVDs, so as donta says, it's really not relevant. Regards
  4. Well, you haven't tried everything, have you? 1. Your firmware is out of date - the NEC site has your drive listed at version 1.07 - see here. 2. You are not using Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden disks as we recommend. Give them a go. Having said all that, your drive is getting a bit long in the tooth and may need replacement. Regards
  5. If you still can't, then you'll need to split a cell. Get VobBlanker and see the splitting guide on site. Regards
  6. What makes you think I didn't look at your screenshot? It was only after that I asked for a log, as per instructions in the pink bit at the top. Eventually, when you get home, please post it. Regards
  7. Well, those blanks are most likely the culprit. However, I'm a tad concerned that the drive can never read anything back that you have written, starting right from the word go. Try this. Pop one of these disks in and from the menu: Tools --> Drive --> Close --> Disc. Do get some Verbs or TYs and see how they go. And see if there's a firmware update for the drive. BTW: I don't suppose any of these disks actually play in a standalone player? Regards
  8. No. ImgBurn simply sends data to your drive. On shitty media (like the junk you are using), the drive craps out (especially near the edge - ie the layer break - where the media is most vulnerable). Simple as that. Why fight it? Don't be a cheapskate. Go get yourself some Verbatims and life will be a whole lot easier for you. Regards
  9. Post a log - see the help menu. Regards
  10. Trawl some more and you'll find we recommend only Verbatim or TY media. If your drive can't read your blanks, it might be time for a new one. Do you have a LOG? Regards
  11. I'd suspect PxHelp20 is a remnant of Roxio and can be deleted. Similarly, GearAspiWDM is used in stuff like iTunes and DVD-XCopy. From what I read, it is more a nuisance than anything. cdrbsdrv is part of Ricoh's B Recorder Gold, and again, from what I read is not useful. You sure have tried a lotta burning solutions. Regards
  12. Yes. The rest of your post will be taken in the very positive spirit it was intended. Funny thing about the dunny water "up top", ain't it? Regards
  13. Use PgcEdit - you can see in the main movie the non-seamless cell. However, IIRC, when ImgBurn sets a layer break, the cells other than the LB will be set to seamless. Regards
  14. Good onya. Now, we can get down to business. Change to Verbatim dual layer. MID = MKM-001. Only use these blanks. Because you get errors near the edge of the disk with inferior media. And write slower - 2.4x (I know the firmware limits it to that anyway, but set it at 2.4x to be safe). Regards
  15. See that pink thing at the top? I'll quote from it ... Now, what do you think might help us help you? Regards
  16. loco - LFC = lfcrule1972 Regards
  17. And no way on God's green earth can a PTP break be seamless. The laser needs to go all the way back to the hub, focus on layer 1, find the right track and sector and then get a move on. The buffers have long run dry while all this is happening. Regards
  18. It could be an IFO or BUP file or just the start of the title (so your preview would be useless; in this case, the breakpoint is about as good as it gets). Cell definition - http://www.dvd-replica.com/DVD/cell.php To make new cells, use VobBlanker - guide on site. Now, it would be really useful if you used the search function (see that pink thing at the top?). All this has been answered literally dozens of times before. Regards
  19. Always wondered why Spanish people were Latin Must have something to do with Julius Caeser. Regards
  20. Sigh! Stupidity is not limited to blonde country singers on American Idol but also includes crud like crd. Regards
  21. I'll rip (what's left of) her top off, but not 4 you AC :D Regards
  22. Probably kirk loves the silly bitch!!! And Altercuno, speaking of famous for getting tops off etc, where can I get the phone number of your avatar please? Regards
  23. It's not an insult (well, perhaps a bit tongue in cheek). http://www.askoxford.com/results/?view=dic...earchtype=exact Regards
  24. Ummm... British English is tautologous while US English is oxymoronic. Regards
