    PxP and back atchya Regards
  2. I'd never buy media from HVN cul!!! But having said that, the major big box retailers here are generally good and don't supply fakes (I usually go to Orificeworks). Your memory's OK - 1857% is more than sufficient! It's a drive or cabling sitch as you and LUK say - most likely the former. Oh, and something which I know is anything but optimal, but unless your verify errors hit a navpack, you'll never notice them (1 error per sector). Regards

Yes, it means castle long. Things are gunna get awful tense along the g3-c7 diagonal now. Play carefully. e5 Regards
  4. No. 1. You can burn the ISO onto a disk using write mode (Ctrl-Alt-W). Select the ISO and press the big green button. This effectively duplicates your disk. 2. You can extract the files from the ISO using ISOBuster or WinRAR. Easier still might be to copy them over from the disk itself using Windows Explorer as the files are undoubtedly not protected (it's a TV/home movie recording, right?). Regards

Not quite. After Qe8, I play e5. If you try h6, I play NxB+. If you try QxN, exf6 leads to rapid demise. So, you try something else. d5 is best, when either Qg3 or simply PxN is sufficient. Now, what you have played (h6) loses immediately to Bxh6 (see the Q on g3?). You could defend with Ne8 but would be lost. You need to play b5 now Nighty night. Regards
  6. (Penny drops) Yes, switch to write mode and burn your ISO. Thanks LUK! Regards
  7. Use build mode to burn. The VIDEO_TS will pick up the correct DVD Video files and the root content (being the AUDIO_RM) will be burned as DVD-ROM files. In the process, an empty AUDIO_TS folder will be created, as required by the DVD spec. If you are using read mode to get files on the PC, what you will get is an ISO with the proper structure. You can extract the folders and files from the ISO using ISOBuster or WinRAR. Regards
  8. What's interesting is the verify errors are all out by 4. So a memory check is definintely in order as you say. Perhaps check on temperatures as well. There's a windows version of memtest86 simply called memTest. I guess it misses some areas of memory (only tests unused RAM) but it will quickly tell you if anything's wrong. So if the OP is having trouble creating a memtest boot disk, this might be quick and easy. http://hcidesign.com/memtest/ Regards
  9. Aaah, I see. So basically, what we're saying is users can either: 1. Author their DVD Video projects in a VIDEO_TS folder and there's no issue; or 2. Tick the Tools --> Setting --> Build tab that says "Don't prompt VIDEO_TS content/answer yes" (if they haven't authored the project properly) Regards
  10. It's not just a verify error though - the burn had real trouble finalising. Drive's gone west or media's bad (fake?) or cables have lost their copper, I would think. Regards
  11. Can't please all the people LUK! Particularly when their cricket team has suffered yet another inglorious series defeat - this times at the hands of India, no less! Regards
  12. I rather agree with Chewy's logic. But it's still hard to go wrong given the message that basically says "want me to make the folders for you". Simply clicking yes is easy. Maybe a check box saying "Don't show me this again - answer yes" is in order? Regards

Qg3. Just so long as you can see why you would lose a piece. Regards

There's no good playing on - you must lose a piece, possibly 2. Go back a move and play Qc7 Regards

Here's the reason why you must play Qc7 first (ever wondered why they do this in this variation?) Nc6!!! Regards

  18. Ritek media has gone downhill at a rapid rate in ther last couple of years. Really, try to find Verbatims or Yudens in minis. Not sure if they are made. Regards
