Hey AC, saw Transformers over the weekend. Just stunning action. 10/10 for mine. Doesn't look like LOCO wants to play. Nf6 if you like. Regards

I/o Failure...Cannot Write Medium...Incompatable Format
blutach replied to Darksun's topic in ImgBurn Support
Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. (Not so) Strangely enough, the good disk is a Verbatim and the bad one is a Ritek. Does that tell you anything at all? Also, do a firmware upgrade - http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2051 Regards -
Pop the burned disk back in, switch to read or write mode and see what the top right panel says. The app always says DVD+R in the write phase but if you verify, it should say DVD-ROM. Regards

If you have a movie DVD project and have edited it and have backup folders such as PgcEdit_backup, VobBlanker_backup or MenuShrink_backup, and want to burn them, ImgBurn will automatically exclude them (well, it will give you the chance to exclude them). If you have DVD-ROM files, you'll need to delete/move these yourself. If you wanna "shrink" your DVD, then yes try google. There's dozens of transcoders (some are actually quite good) and encoders. Regards

And if you are using FAT32 you can convert to NTFS painlessly. From the windows desktop, press F1 and type in "convert to NTFS". Follow the directions. Regards
-
@spinner It's not the size but the quality - I have nice 80 wire cables, thank you very much! :D Regards
-
You can open an ISO image in DVD Shrink with Ctrl-I. This is nothing to do with ImgBurn, however. Regards
-
Just burn a data disk. In build mode, select the folder containing the JPEGs and TIFFs. Regards
-
Play your project on a software player (eg Power DVD, Media Player Classic). Is there sound then? Is this a disk with no English as the main language (eg Apocalypto, Passion of The Christ) and your transcoder has deselected all languages? Regards

Optimal L1 Data Zone Start LBA: None Found! (VTS_01)
blutach replied to Frankenstien's topic in ImgBurn Support
Don't play around with the setting unless you know what you are doing. They work right out of the box. So, if you have, reset them to default. As well, we are not interested in your decryption methodolgies/programs. It is highly unlikely the disk is PTP. If, on the infinitesmal chance it is, you may need to re-author it by splitting cells, as we have already advised. Regards -
Optimal L1 Data Zone Start LBA: None Found! (VTS_01)
blutach replied to Frankenstien's topic in ImgBurn Support
I've never seen a commercial DVD Video with PTP, but it sure would kill dual layer copying Do as LUK says and split some cells round the middle of the disk. Use VobBlanker to do this. Regards -
The "other files" simply need to be at the same level in the strucure as the VIDEO_TS folder (these are referred to as DVD-ROM files). Use build mode (either to make an ISO or burn directly to the device). Regards

As you can see by looking here., Datasafe is a brand which covers the spectrum of quality! However, the only DVD-Rs, 8x media are CMC or Ritek G05. These are both crap. We recommend that you use high quality Verbatim or Taaiyo Yuden media. Check out the media ID code in ImgBurn. Pop a disk in, change to write mode and check out the MID in the top right box. It should be MCC something or other for true Verbatim media. Regards

burned image to dvd+r won't play in dvd player
blutach replied to revdrake's topic in ImgBurn Support
Ummm - we do not support pirating of DVDs. Regards -
1. Not unless the AUDIO_TS folder comes first. The data on layer 0 must be greater than that on layer 1. 2. If the DVD-Audio spec is anything like the video one, the tracks will be in separate cells. If so, ImgBurn will make the LB at a cell boundary (ie not mid track). If you can post a screen shot of the ImgBurn LB dialogue box, we can confirm for you. As a policy, do not ever use DVD-R DL disks. Only use DVD+R Verbatims. The MKM-001s seem to be the best. Regards

Well, they are English, after all =)) Regards

Ner0 Rec0de's merge feature. Other progs have this as well, DVD2One etc. Regards
-
ImgBurn does not decrypt DVDs. Read mode makes images of unencypted DVDs. Sorry, we can't help. If your old one is ready for the scrapheap, go buy a new player - they are not expensive. Regards

Who doesn't love Top Gear? Great show. Only trouble is he's always hated Porsches while slobbering over his beloved Aston Martins. Regards
