Yep, sniping works best.

Yes, a film of much topic on the old board. Anyway, it airs again on Sci-Fi Channel in the US, Saturday, December 3rd, 2 PM CST.
-
Sounds about right. It was Jo Grant, 3rd Doctor Jon Pertwee's assistant (Hmmm... you do realize I could make a gag using all of those following words: doctor, jon, pert, wee, and ass? ) with her domes pressed against the Dalek's. I don't remember if I did send them. PM me and I will, though, if you want all the bases covered.

I admit, I'm interested in seeing it. Such interests made me hunt down Kathy Manning and her Dalek on line years ago.

Oh, so, THAT'S the real story? I remember a year or so ago when it was announced the Terry Nation estate wasn't releasing the Daleks for the new series, at first. They had said that it was because the new show wanted to include gay Daleks. I knew that HAD to be wrong! Makes no sense! Poor Daleks. First, they're turned into Pakistanis, and now this...

Well, I really would like to see Opera back on its own feet again. But, I have to say that the majority of my web browsing was taken over by Firefox. Opera, for too long, ignored a problem that has been there for a year, a problem that enabled pages to think they were open when they were being downloaded. Thus, they never finished. Opera still has the idea of REAL saved sessions (Netscape 8's idiotic idea is to only save them when YOU save them AND ONLY as your default opening "home pages." Idiots!) which is essential, IMO, because of how a web page can crash your entire browser when you open it. Even at that, Opera needs to rethink their strategies. Forcing users to move over from a save anywhere to save in one place scenario severely limits disaster recovery for the software because you must save your session, rename the file, blah blah blah. Plus, the excedingly SIMPLE idea of having a user option where Opera, on start, DOESN'T load the page CONTENTS, just the contents of the pane in focus, and only the URL's in the destination bar for all others. Then, on selecting a new tab, the page loads when it becomes the focus, or, manually loads when told to by the user. Would drastically reduce load times and potential crashes, e.g. you open a page that crashes Opera, and, the current structure is if you reopen the session, it will crash again because it automatically opens all the pages. A great idea only IF crashes never occurred. Which Opera does a lot, I'm afraid. Just randomly disappears from memory sometimes, too. So, to be honest I'd rather see some of Opera's features imported into Firefox, since, if Opera could do it, Firefox DEFINITELY could. For instance, the simple concept of RESIZING tabs to fit instead of scrolling them off into right side infinity.

It's finally out, it seems. You what was even more surprising? Opera 8.51 actually appears to have FIXED the memory leak, 0 bytes page loading error that has been in there since all non Preview releases after 7.54. Acronis has recently released Disk Director 10. I wonder if they DIDN'T test it... like True Image 9.0... and True Image 8.0, and...

http://www.tv.com/tracking/viewer.html&ref...00&ref_type=101 BBC Squashes Dalek-on-Lesbian Porn Nov 29, 2005 A pornographic film that features the Doctor Who baddies the Daleks romping with a trio of naked, swingin' ladies has been forced off the market by the BBC. The BBC, as well as the estate of the creator of the evil robots, Terry Nation, weren?t too amused to discover an X-rated Abducted by the Daleks DVD up for sale on eBay. The video features a trio of Daleks ? legless, trashcan-shaped robots whose only appendages are a suction-cup like device and a death ray ? chasing a trio of women around their spacecraft. While that?s the basic plot summary of a dozen or so Doctor Who storylines, this one?s a little different: The women were abducted from a three-way tryst in the woods by the Daleks, who ultimately join in the fun. The video was removed after an uproar from BBC officials as well as longtime Doctor Who fans, many of whom just couldn?t identify with groping women. Of course, the Cybermen, another longtime Who baddie, are still perfectly suited for roles gay porn. "Dalek-on-Lesbian?" Is that anywhere near the birthplace of Shakespeare?

Wasn't she supposedly one of the people who left the House in the shortest amount of time ever on the UK series?
-
Or any music CD. Or any multi-track CD.

Big Brother already happened. It began in the UK where it was imported and all the nudity pixelated. Like Kinga and the wine bottle would ever be allowed on US TV?

Department Store 'Mannequin Rape' Hits All Time High
dbminter replied to Shamus_McFartfinger's topic in Chat
Mysterious clues have been left behind at the site of all mannequin rapes: 1.) dead mice in traps with evidence of recent post mortem mating 2.) celery stalks inserted into various places carved into the dummies 3.) water wings were attached 4.) copies of Pretty Woman DVD's scattered all over the place 5.) one copy each of #4 were inserted into a pile of dead DVD drives 6.) a bill of sale in the decimal/comma swapped format Police are baffled... some strangely aroused. :& Depending on which type arrived on the scene first, "Wot's all this, then?!" takes on different meaning. -
Department Store 'Mannequin Rape' Hits All Time High
dbminter replied to Shamus_McFartfinger's topic in Chat
I think the point being missed here is it's called RAPE! Rape occurs only without the consent of one party. (To Hell with statuatory rape, created only to help line jails and prosecutors lists when it comes election time. ) So, they're saying the mannequins DIDN'T consent to it? Of course not! They're dummies! They can't speak! Or... are they saying... the mannequins DID say no... -
Now there's an idea! Replace the giant finger controller with a celery stalk!
-
It's called a running gag... yeah... that's it... *drums his stumps against his stalk sending a secret coded message to others of his kind* "I THINK THEY'RE BEGINNING TO SUSPECT! Hold off attack. Stall. Pretend to be harmless palm trees a little while longer."

The red hibiscus looks strangely like a triffid from the BBC TV adaptation of Day Of The Triffids!

Here in my home country, as well as in various parts of the world, there has been a wide rift on the opinions of the current US President, George W. Bush. 2008 will be an essential year for voting in the US, and, I believe I have finally found a candidate worthy of my vote. For the first time in 12 years, I'd gladly cast my ballot of the only being possibly capable of achieving such greatness. www.zod2008.com GENERAL ZOD GETS MY NOD!

Unfortunately, in the real world, things don't work that way. Those who would be unlikely to know that their CD is protected and has the rootkit would most likely also be one who doesn't have AV installed, does not regularly update the definitions, does not have the knowledge to configure AV to run the way it should, e.g. not the default settings, or to fix the AV should a problem arise with scanning or updates retrieval. Plus, once opened, I'd be willing to bet that the CD does not contain any info on it being super copy protected. Only on the cellophane as they would legally require so the customer can return it unopened. I've not seen any of these protected CD's, so, I don't know if they are labeled on the discs or the booklets or inserts for this protection.

You were a yout! In the UK, The Ewok Adventure saw a theatrical release. Sort of like how you Canadians saw Battlestar Galactica as a theatrical release, as opposed to America who saw it as a TV mini-series. In many parts of the world, things seen on US TV are shown as a theatrical release elsewhere. For instance, the three part Batman arc, The Zodiac Crimes, featuring the Joker and Penguin teaming up, was originally intended as a theatrical release as a follow up to the Batman movie. It was eventually shown in the US on TV, but, elsewhere, it was also distributed as a feature film.

Wow... I just cannot believe this piece of Spam I received today... The subject wasn't unusual. The fake sender tells me he took these pills and became an amazing sex machine. What was unusual was there was a pictorial example. Even more so, it was a cartoon. Even more more so, it was Bart Simpson.. :&

And, what about people who are NOT aware of these protected CD's? They never exchange them, sell them to someone who isn't versed in the protection, too. Or, worse, put them up for sale at a used shop or donate them to a library? Well after Sony's exchange program ends, of course, which they'd only keep up as long as they legally need to and not forever as would be necessary. The result? A Trojan that probably will live forever.
