Mmm a quick Google search shows that this drive isn't rated highly by its owners I did find a firmware update to AD18 though on this page http://forum.rpc1.org/viewtopic.php?p=191932 The link to the firmware is a couple of posts down - is this drive in a laptop/notebook ?

Looks like I stumbled into a knocking shop !! As dirio49 said you just need to delete the old video/dvd files once you have finished with them otherwise your hard drive becomes full !
