Hi and welcome to the forum, mudskipper!
Yes, you are right.
-
Tried to find that XP theme on the Microsoft webpage, I couldn't. You have any download link?
The only ones I have are these:
Windows Vista includes two themes: Windows Vista and Windows Classic, which is similar to the look and feel of earlier versions of Windows. Each person who has an account on the computer can choose his or her own theme. -

There is an option in the program that is not working...

Hi and welcome to the forum, Nightly!
As you already have a done ISO file - there is no need to build one.
Select the 'Write' mode and load the .iso file. You need a DL disc to be able to burn the ISO file.
For the layer break - what kind of game is it for? xBox/Wii/Amiga?
-
As it is a game (I'm not to good with that stuff) the .dvd file holds the layer break - so select that one.

The tray closed
Then restart the computer after the flash
Also there is a later version of the ImgBurn program to install.

As stated before, you can already do this.
Assume you want to make a template for a CD.
Start the 'Build' mode. Don't load any files/folders and apply your setting changes. Save it with the option; Main Menu -> File -> Save Project
The next time you are going to create a CD - load the already created Project file to automatically change the settings and then just add the files/folders.
You can have as many project files saved as you want.

Hi and welcome to the forum, timothywongtw!
Can you post the full log? You find it here: Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs

Well, as they say - after rain there is sunshine.

Yes, I think you could write a big book about graphs like these.
Ran some tests today to compare the results of the same discs in my burners with Nero DiscSpeed and also with DVDInfoPro, and the only conclusion was that I got even more confused about this stuff.
I have a big package of new unscratched RW discs to try with. Will run a new test.

Never heard of that media 'DAXON' before.
-
Yes, nice to see you again!
Goto Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware Tab > Device Manager. Do you see any yellow exclamation point on the drive?
Nero InCD installed?

Hi and welcome to the forum, abuilder!
Do you have Roxio Easy Media Creator installed?
How did you plug in this burner? Do you have another burner installed also? Master/Slave/Device jumper settings are right in the back of the burners?
Can you post the full log? Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs

Don't feel sorry. I don't think the stuff around the 'silent' updates are that secret - I was just to lazy to dig them up.
But if your device/media supports the OPC feature - it do gives you some better burns.

That one was not in one of the silent program updates. I think it was only added to the change log silent.
Do a search on a certain authors name and the word 'silent', that should get you the four things that was added.

In Nero 7 (and earlier versions) the name is Nero CD-DVD Speed and in Nero 8 it's Nero DiscSpeed.
-
Could be the arrival of the new media such as Blu-ray. To have a program name that only includes the word 'CD-DVD' could imply that it will only support those types. To add two other types makes the program name long and perhaps the sole intention of the new name is to avoid a long program name such as Nero CD-DVD-HD-Blu-ray Speed.
Nero 8 is now also released in a new flavor - Nero 8 HD. So the name change could be the reason of that.
I can't see that they are developing both Nero CD-DVD Speed and Nero DiscSpeed. The latest update is only for the later program.

Perhaps best to set the Microsoft Update function to only notify you on updates and not let it install stuff on its own. If you have it set up so.

Pioneers are crappy for high speed CD burning. If you used MAX speed - try to lower the speed.
