  1. Anone used a different media code some months ago. Sure it's the same on the old discs? Put in an old one and use the read mode to see what it says for the media code.
  2. The laser head might need a cleaning disc. The drive I: is that a hard disk?
  3. What's wrong with the software that Samsung offers for this task?
  4. The issue is that making a disc region free is part of breaking the copy protection and that's not a good thing to learn out or discuss in this forum.
  5. India, but i burned like 10 so shouldnt be the problem. Had a 10 pack spindle from India that was just crap. Can't say I trust those ones.
  6. Those Verbatims - where are they made in?
  7. A reader can not see how fast a disc was burned. The only thing it wants is the best possible burn = the most easily read disc.
  8. Looking at this old log, your burner will book type +R DL media for you by default. http://forums.xbox-scene.com/lofiversion/index.php/t714023.html
  9. LGs are normally automatically book typed by default. Sure it's not the fact if you look at a burned discs ImgBurn log?
  10. You need a double layer disc for that image to work. Look at the sector size on the source image and compare it to the amount of available sectors on your current media. It's impossible to put an elephant into a Fiat 600.

    DVD+R

Your burner doesn't like the brand of those discs. Try with Verbatim.
  12. The default setting makes ImgBurn to save the logs when you exit. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14632
  13. The author has stated several times that ImgBurn is for experienced users. Even if there are a lot of "checks" to avoid the most basic user input errors.
  14. You can't, as ImgBurn currently doesn't support multi session discs.
  15. The first picture talks about -R/-RW media, not +R as you are trying with. - media holds some extra MBs compared to + media on single layer discs. Overburning with +R media is likely to fail as there normally are no more sectors to use than announced on the package. Another option is to mount the image and do a new build for +R DL media so you get the layer break where you want it to be. If you used another program to "shrink" it down in size, it sounds more as an issue with that program oversizing.
  16. Oh damn, so I could probably find another one of these that I use and it has a chance to work? Verbatims are the best ones to use regarding quality.
  17. Yes, you are using a DL disc. But the quality of those with that media code can be a joke sometimes. Verbatim is usually what works every time.
  18. Tried any of the 6x or 8x write speeds? Try with a better disc quality, like Verbatim. (Saw that this ISO should be one a DL disc. Sorry, I'm not much for games. )
  19. You don't need a double layer disc for this task. Try with a regular DVD disc.
  20. If it can't burn Verbatims, I would go for a new burner. Indicates hardware related issue.
  21. Mount the ISO with a program like DVDFab Vitrual Drive or Virtual CloneDrive and then just copy the files to your hard disk.
  22. Tried one of the lower write speeds? (Speeds: 3x, 4x, 6x, 8x) If it's a Toshiba computer, there is also a later firmware to try with. http://www.firmwarehq.com/download_1142-file_TSL632H_TO03.zip.html
  23. well i wouldnt mind a proper explanation as to why before i update they were no coaster and now that i updated to this new version that they are coastering like water Try the old one again, to rule out what you think is the problem. http://www.filehippo.com/download_imgburn/7358/
