4x is already tried and it was a failure. Try one of the higher speeds, like 6x or 8x.

You have some odd screen resolution set on your screen? O/S?

Was the burn + verify ok?

Could you post a log with a burn from the new computer? If it's burned as DVD-ROM it stays so, even if you read it in different computers.

The log is from the old/new computer? It was book typed ok.

Could try to clean the lens. Might be time to get a new burner.

The book type has been set to DVD-ROM during the burning process.

Speeds can be different between drives. These are the ones that the firmware/drive allows for in the above post. (Speeds: 6x, 8x, 12x, 16x)

I hope you are not going to burn DVD Video compliant material on those discs - you should get DVD +R DL media for that task. Your issue is that the burner doesn't like the media/brand of those discs. Princo was crap media when I used it in 2003/2004 and I would recommend you to get some decent ones. like Verbatim.

No. ImgBurn doesn't change DVD video or sound.

I'm the lazy one, so I always edit that field after I've pressed the Build icon and when the program suggests it for me and that label window shows up first after I've press the Build icon. Perhaps if you add a folder that contains a DVD Movie / Blu ray compliant structure it could be showed a name in that box at an earlier stage or have some type of icon that fills the rows based on the folder/files you have added in such a case? But the current new tweaking is enough for me.

So after this new "tweaking" and if I have a folder named "Minnie Mouse" (and it contains a VIDEO_TS folder) - will it now suggest a "saving name" in the Destination save box/window that pop ups when I leave the Destination "naming of the iso row" empty and press "the build icon"? Currently the the Destination save box/window is always empty, like this one. Spara som = Save as Filnamn = File name

All you need is not love, for this task you also do need a DL disc.

You should be able to split an existing cell and by that be able to set the layer break at the point where you want. VobBlanker could be used.

The drive/program takes care of the book type stuff already as you can see in the log.

If you are using DVD Shrink to output - select ISO file. Now it sounds as you output to folder.
