If you insert the disc before you start the burn, the program will show you the selected write speed.
-
-
From your other thread, it reports this size for a new disc.

I 12:13:15 Destination Media Type: DVD-R (Disc ID: PRINCORGM1)
I 12:13:15 Destination Media Supported Write Speeds: 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x
I 12:13:15 Destination Media Sectors: 2,298,496
-
It's no good to overburn a DVD Video Compliant image.
If the disc is just 2,298,496 amount of sectors big, that's how big it is.
Use a program such as DVD Shrink (freeware) to "shrink" the image down in size to fit your discs, and then burn the image/files that program creates with ImgBurn.
-
Was that a new disc you tried to burn with?
The
I 12:01:47 Destination Media Sectors: 2,125,728
looks low compared to a fresh disc.

I 12:47:56 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started!
Ver 2.5.7.0 is the latest one.
-
Could try to use the latest version instead.
-
-
The lead-in part was written so no. If you try to burn with it - ImgBurn will not high light the burn (start) button.
-
Perhaps cleaning the laserhead with a cleaning disc could help. Guess the same problem if you try with 8x as write speed?
-
How do i do that?
By creating a plain text file with the name 'StatusBarMessages.txt' in the ImgBurn program folder, it's possible to create your own compilation of status bar messages to be used instead of the default ones. -
Oh ya i forgot to say this but could ImgBurn be able to disable the little quotes at the button by the status bar e.g "Could the program BE any better?" because Iv read most/all of them and they are getting boring maby for ImgBurn to say just plan "Ready" thanks
Add your own quotes then...

I'll wait for the next release though, give them time to fix a few more bugs first
True. There was a bug in that function for mobile themes in the first release. The solution in ver 3.4.1 they disabled it and in stead it shows a symbol for a missing picture.

I 12:07:51 Destination Media Supported Write Speeds: 2.4x, 4x, 6x
Tried another write speed than MAX = 6x? As the 2.4x or 4x?
-
Only way to know for sure is to try.
-
Odd thing is that the label AZO is not in that image. It should be something like this:
-
Yes.
I 11:32:28 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: MBIPG101-R10-65)That disc id is tricky for some burners, I would go for Verbatim AZO Made in Singapore instead if you want to "overburn".
-
And i dont remember writing speed then, maybe it was 2.4x, and now i burn with 1x, as in instruction.
W 11:32:28 Write Speed Miscompare! - Wanted: 1 385 KB/s (1x), Got: 5 540 KB/s (4x)W 11:32:28 The drive only supports writing these discs at 4x; 6x; 8x.
No, you burned with 4x, as that one is the lowest possible speed with your combo of media/writer.
-
Or a disc of questionable quality that your burner is not so found of.
Post the full log.
-
Can you post the full log from that failed burn?
