  3. Oppps go for the quick one, it will concentrate on the registry and shell stuff if you have had something bad enough then damage might have been done to your system and a repair disk is necessary
  4. just in case this scanner is about the best thing available now for the average user there's some pretty nasty stuff running around and a lot of the AV programs are not catching it
  5. Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and save it to a convenient location. Double click on mbam-setup.exe to install it. Before clicking the Finish button, make sure that these 2 boxes are checked (ticked): Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware [*]Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware will now check for updates. If your firewall prompts, please allow it. If you can't update it, select the Update tab. Under Update Mirror, select one of the websites and click on Check for Updates. [*]Select the Scanner tab. Click on Perform full scan, then click on Scan. [*]Leave the default options as it is and click on Start Scan. [*]When done, you will be prompted. Click OK, then click on Show Results. [*]Checked (ticked) all items and click on Remove Selected. [*]After it has removed the items, Notepad will open. Please post this log in your next reply. You can also find the log in the Logs tab. The bottom most log is the latest.
  6. Seems like I mentioned this a long time ago I just do it all manually anyway I would rather see if the sound is still in synch before burning, an avi conversion is not always so 100% foolproof It would seem like I argued against all this cross software integration with other programs also

  10. does running it in 32 bit compatibility mode help? since vista is going over like a lead ballon I hope that their next OS is a more functional user experience
  11. since imgburn is so easy on ram and cpu cycles, vista must be making it seem sluggish?

    Disc Erase

only on rw's It's similar to a floppy disk, you can try and use one without a full format first, it's more likely to screw up
  18. that's the mid code of your blanks, it's where we find out if you are using good ones or bad ones you asked what you might have been doing wrong? with verbatim or taiyo yuden disks we could pretty well eliminate bad blanks as your problem and concentrate on other possibilities

probably cas 5 ram that likes 1.8, you are fine with intel if you don't overclock a lot and shorten the longer intel pipline you did good, if you had amd64 with onboard memory controller(short memory pipeline) then cas 5 would hurt performance must be SIL this time

    help?

the toshiba I am working on comes with a big leaflet which says, if it breaks call us tollfree, do not return to store looks like your laptop broke to play hd disks made after july 2007, I have to flash the bios and load a certain video driver and download a huge new player package? what's the point? I have already suggested that my client switch to an external dvd burner with proper support
