  1. Hey Lightning, the image was snapped of my PC and it's identical to the one on my TV. All my burns are verified and each one went without incident, I'll include a log if that helps? and a DVDinfo screen shot.

  2. Hey guys, have any ideas as to what has happened.

I've burned four discs today without incident, all logs and graphs are identical to every good burn from the past. The problem is when I play each and every disc in my stand alone i get is a corrupt image.....badburn9ec.png

The four burns are two different files which is why I'm confused :ermm: Firmware is uptodate and i use TY media . I burned one file then checked on my stand alone only to discover the problem, so i then re-burned the same file and again found the same problem. I then changed the file, burned another disc and when viewed had the same problem. Me being me, I've then burned a fourth.......same problem..... I now give up :suicide:

  3. Thanks again Ken, i was reading the link the other day but seeing as it was posted in the " Bugs Section " i didn't add to the thread. The problem is/was a one off so i didn't consider it a bug but then I'm no expert. Although in the link there are similarities " WaitImmediate IO Error " my problem was

"E 17:02:33 Finalise Disc Failed! - Reason: No Additional Sense Information"

any idea what the No Additional Sense Information bit is......? :ermm:

  4. It could just be "one of those things", the one thing I would check out though if it keeps doing it is your PSU.

Thanks guys, but I'm afraid this is where my lack of technical knowledge kicks in...... PSU....???

  5. Hey Ken, since my initial problems with my poota some months ago i now shutdown all non essential apps' so all that is running are some background processes but nothing major, ie, i disconnect for the net, a/virus, firwall and the likes of are off as this was sucking the power when burning. This is what's confussing me, the first, third and fourth well all ok, just this one.......?

  6. I searched for anything similar in the forum and there is a recent post in ImgBurn Bugs about errors but from what i read this is not a bug so I'll post here. Over the weekend i burned some files and towards the end of the burn a window i got the error (see Log).

This was the second burn, the first was uneventful, as was the third and fourth. I've burned since then and all have again been uneventful, anyone have any ideas as to what caused the error, or is it just a one off glitch or something seeing as subsequent burns have all been without incident....

  8. how do my British cousins put it?, shag one of my third cousins 15 years ago;
    =))

I've tried to educate the missus in our slang and it sounds so weird to hear an America pronounce words that we use on a daily basis. :P

  9. All you need to do is add one of those night lights that sit in the bowl and glow green and that would be really eerrie. cool none the less.

  10. hey a2j3 were you going to say something we already saw the quotes :/

    The silent type.....:frustrated:

=))=)) You guys are just too funny........

  11. Well, I certainly hope she's better looking than I am julli-chicken.gif.

She's just a plain good looking country gal who can out cuss, out chew, out shoot, out drink and out ride me, in fact you'd probably call here a redneck seeing as you are a confirmed West coaster...... =))

  12. Thanks for explanation.

Generally we reserve biscuit for something sweet. Cracker for something, uh, not sweet.

The one exception is Animal Crackers which are really biscuits.

    now i'm really confused..........=))
