That reminds me of the line In the film " Four Wedding And A Funeral " where Roan Atkinson Is conducting the church ceremony and he says " I the name of the Father, the spirt and the holy GOAT ".....=))

Zen and the art of Imageburning........ =))

IMO, most regulars here are far from " normal "

laptop drives are pretty iffy really , if it was me, i would buy an external drive and not from dell as they dont make drives.
I got my hands on a LiteOn 1635s External USB as my Laptop combo drive was/is crap, this worked flawlessly for the 3 weeks until I had to return It to my brother......

well im off to the bookies to put 20 quid on sony releasing it in the UK 2 weeks before xmas
the only differance this time is that they started the sales hype a bit earlier than usual
I'm with volvo on this one....
-
Like grain said, only if you have DVD's from other regions.
I also use a LiteON and as my G/F lives in the USA(regoin 1) she often sends me movies before they are released here. As my standalone is regeion 2 the only way to watch them is on my pc. So for me personally It is a benifit.

I use http://svp.co.uk/ for all my media and I'm sure a few of the other members do too.

@ lfc',I'll have to get over to my nephews and borrow It like i did with the first one he owned..
@ Jack, It's been a while since I saw that but It still makes me chuckle

MJ, you big softie......

@lfc, you're too funny....=))

Nevertheless, if the verification fails the media is useless. A better dialog would help people to understand that. ;-)
This Is one I got today, although the burn failed verification It plays on my standalone. I did re-burn to a +RW and completed the verification so this can't be a media issue as I'm using Taiyo Yudens...?

Looking at the 380 horsepower and 0-60 time of 5+ seconds doesn't impress me I had a Dodge Charger
with a 2.2 engine with a 5 speed that could do 0-60 in 6.7 seconds a little rocket
My Ducati 748 will do 0-60 in under 4 seconds without shifting out of first gear provided you keep the front wheel on the ground Plus i can usually park anywhere without having to pay for it, with the exception of central London where you'll get a ticket for parking on the pavement.

Like Blu, I use v4. I read up on the adware issues and installed it anyway. Haven't had problems though.

PS. I thought IB 2.1 was supposed to be out last weekend
I was away when the V2 was to be released, It then got put back to a week after i got home.
I was away this weekend and V2.1 was to be released, the weekend is almost upon us......do i detect a bit of a pattern here........ If that's the case I'll make sure i go away more often =))

Firefox randomly failing to properly render?

Posted
I've given up with FireFox recently, not only have pages not rendered, It also reverts back to default settings every three/four days and I have to reconfigure everything from themes to extensions. It's currently sidelined In favor of Opera for now or until I can be arsed to find a solution to the problem....
