Woohooo, just got back from my little jaunt to the Caribbean :afro: only to find v2 has yet to be released. I'm rather relieved that all but the beta testers haven't had a head start on me in finding out what new goodies await within ImgBurn v2 :thumbup:

Thanks for the heads up on De-bug :thumbup: I should add that the disc plays fine in my stand alone, so who knows. Again before i played the first disc i burned the same file to a second disc today and this one went with any probs. All i can imagine then is it's one of those random glitches that i'm plagued with every now and then :unknown: I didn't realize that DVDinfo had been upgraded, I'll get that sometime this week.

As with all burns i do now, nothing is running in the background. As usual the image was mounted on a virtual drive to check all was ok, which it was. I then opened ImgBurn and proceeded with the burn, only to realize the image was still mounted as the burn started.

I unmounted the image and closed the virtual drive within 30 seconds/ 1 minute of the burn starting and that's when the buffer emptied and continued to do so for the duration. I started de-bug mode to give a bit more info on the log and to see if it can help pinpoint what happened.

Could this just be a bad disc, although I'm using TY media, i know it's not uncommon to have one or two within a batch, or could closing the virtual drive had an adverse effect on the OS. I'm inclined to think the former but some " expert" advice would definitely not go amiss, Thanks.... :thumbup:

Opera is brilliant as well.

I also have Opera installed but haven't really used it. I 'spose because I've used Firefox for so long It's hard to change to something you're unfamiliar with. :unsure:

I started using Firefox before they called it that (I can't remember what the hell it was called but it went through several name changes.). I doubt I'll ever use IE again.

Likewise MJ, my first encouter was with Firebird v0.7.1 in late '03 through a my brother, i didn't really start using it until it was released as Firefox 1.0 and haven't touched IE since then.

Since I'm the only one who seems to suffer from these problems, maybe I can get a copy to test this new buffer underrun feature ?

I'm with you on this, i have the same with my laptop. Personally i queue all the files to be burnt and when ready i shut down all no essential apps' and burn said files. Been doing this since i had trouble many months ago, we never really got to the root of the problem at the time but doing things like this i now burn/verify in 10/12 minutes without any under run.

Is it worth the extra time it takes? Thanks.

I'm burning externally via USB from my laptop and most burns take around 5/6 minutes, with verify the you can add the same again. So for the sake of 5 minutes i think it's worth it.. :thumbup:

It wasn't bad was it ? I couldn't work out whether it was edited or real in places but it does look good.

The other one occured when Chelsea met Liverpool in a footie match. The Chelsea mascot made to shake Steven Gerrard's (Liverpool Cpt) hand and then made the face !! Cheeky but funny as it went out on Satellite tv across the country
