You have the latest firmware for your drive, although yours is known as a crappy drive. You might want to get an external.

I know in the end it's unlikely that something like this will be implemented
My opinion also, but it's always up to the

Have you tried another batch of discs?
-
Whatever it does it does. We do not offer advice as to how to bypass copy protection or assist with that endeavor in any manner.
If you have further questions about it, use Google and come back with a question if you have a problem with ImgBurn.

Look at the ImgBurn log for your burns and see what speeds you can burn your media at, or post a log and we'll tell you.
-
My first thought would be to follow the directions in the pink bit at the top and include a log to your post.

Change discs, Ritek is highly unreliable.

I know you don't need someone telling you this would be swell, but I'm curious why it hasn't been implemented yet? It's the only thing missing from imgburn I can imagine! No biggie, I just gather my files and cook 'em when I get a disk's worth, but it would be nice, and put the final nail in nero's coffin (mentally for me - I never touch the stuff!).
Thanks for imgburn, what a fabulous thing it is!
This is where that seldom used 'search' function comes in handy...

OK , I was just going by the last popup that said 'Security Tool successfully installed' ...cheers

You're the victim of a website that infects your computer with a Trojan as soon as you install their 'Security Tool". Read the following:

Where's Corny???

Deeb, I didn't delete the pic, so I don't know why "HE" wasn't there.
Rince, Make sure you listen to the podcasts at least semi-annually, never can tell when an xist may decide to visit and test you....

Praise BOB!
Pretty astute observation there Rincewind..

Can you post a log?
-
Rincewind;
I guess the pc dvd drives are just better than set top players somehow?Computer drives follow a strict set of 'computer logic' and don't care where the data comes from as long as it's readable; whereas the algorithm in the dvd players are written by manufacturers and have to conform to the dvd industry standards and not computer manufacturers standards.
I
t is interesting also that for optical media for the most part Taiwan sucks, yet hardware such as burners(?) are actually decent? Why is that?Different industries...why do apples and oranges taste different I guess.

Your discs are not the best for the job, read and follow the info given in the link as ianymaty suggested.
-
My question is why only ImgBurn can do the job and not the other application?
Wouldn't the best place to ask your question be at Ulead since ImgBurn worked?

Annie, hi and welcome to the forum.
The .mds contains info used for disc burning, the .iso is a 'container' that encompasses your files and makes them compliant to the dvd standard.
Post a copy of your logfile and read the faqs and guides or at least the pink bit at the top of this page.
