  1. Is that an original Wii game disc? Original games protected against copying, and ImgBurn can't read protected discs.
  2. All the available write speeds (look in the Information box of ImgBurn) should work OK. Make sure your burner has the latest firmware available and you're good to go
  3. You need to enable 'DVD-RAM / BD-RE FastWrite' in Tools -> Settings -> Write tab in order to get the full speed
  4. The two DVDs you have, is one of them bootable? How do you use them?
  5. Try burning at 16x, 8x, or even 4x, and see if it works. By the way, your LG drive is just a reader, it can't burn anything
  6. ImgBurn burns in DAO mode by default
  7. It's what some games use. The image wasn't generated by ImgBurn
  8. The burn was good, so the problem could be the image or a problem with the console. By the way... There's a firmware update for your burner. Remove any disc and close the tray before updating, then reboot the computer after it's finished.
  9. Can you post a log of the burn? Look in the Help menu.
  10. Try a lens cleaning disc on that drive. You might also want to try 6x.
  11. First result from a Google search: http://video.about.com/pcsupport/dvdburner3-mov.htm
  12. There could be compatibility issues between your computer and the USB external enclosure (search this board for "semaphore timeout" to see a few examples). Besides, an internal burner is a lot cheaper and you can replace the one you currently have
  13. The booktype set to DVD-ROM increases compatibility with standalone DVD players, so that's not an issue. What's the brand of the discs you're using?
  14. Most people use their SATA controllers in IDE compatibility mode, which effectively makes the controller behave as an IDE controller and, as such, be prone to these errors
  15. Pioneer burners are very good for burning dual-layer media
  16. I'm not sure what causes it but it's so common to happen that it's the 2nd post of the Frequently Asked Questions thread
  17. Follow this post from the FAQ completely (deleting controllers/rebooting/etc) and your problem should go away.
  18. Can you post a log from a burn where that happens? Look in ImgBurn's Help menu
  19. They're very cheap these days and your burner isn't correctly recognizing the disc (see the parts I've highlighted above they're all wrong).
  20. Your burner is crazy. Did the firmware update go all the way to 100%? Anyway I think you should get a new burner as this one isn't reliable anymore.
  21. The drive thinks there's no disc inside. Does it recognize burned discs?
  22. Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot the computer after it's finished) and try burning again.
  23. Update ImgBurn and please also read this: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  24. Yup, it's a bad disc indeed. Please read this: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  25. Use the verify mode (have you noticed the Mode menu? ) to check your burned disc against the game image on your HD. And yes, next time you're burning enable the Verify option before burning
