  1. Try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks. Also try burning at 4x to see if you get a better burn.
  2. Read the pink bit at the top of this page //edit too slow... again...
  3. DVD-ROM drives can only read CDs and DVDs. They can't burn any format. A new DVD burner is pretty cheap these days so you won't spend much on replacing your drive
  4. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  5. Yup, you should go with ImgBurn's suggestions
  6. MacOSX can read ISO9660, Joliet and UDF, so you don't need to worry about it
  7. Try with Verbatim 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) blanks to see if they work better, as the portable player could be struggling to read the media you're currently using. You should also leave Verify enabled, as that ensures the disc was correctly burned
  8. ImgBurn doesn't support multisession, which is what you need in order to add more data to that disc.
  9. You could also crossflash it to the real Samsung model SH-S182M
  10. With ImgBurn what goes in is what comes out, no changes are made
  11. Look in the FAQ about the slow burning speed too.
  12. The HD can't deliver data fast enough in order to burn at the speed you've selected. Try defragmenting it, disabling antivirus/etc and closing all programs before burning and it might help.
  13. Also update ImgBurn to the latest version
  14. I'm sorry but we can't disclose that information, especially in a public place like this
  15. The files generated by DVD Flick, are they in sync? Use MPC-HC/PowerDVD/WinDVD/etc to play them. Did you verify your burn? Please post a log from that burn (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
  16. If it's copythatgame we know about them already. If it's another program you can use the e-mail address in ImgBurn's About dialog (under Help menu)
  17. Seems like whatever you've used to create those IFO/BUP/VOB files messed them up. Just to be sure, go to Tools -> Settings -> click the Defaults button, answer Yes and click on OK. Now try again and see if it recognizes all the files.
  18. ImgBurn is just a burning tool, not a conversion tool. Use DVD Flick or ConvertXtoDVD to convert those videos. Then you can burn them to DVD and they'll play on any DVD player.
  19. You ignored the message saying that ImgBurn can't read xbox360 games because they're protected. We can't help you with that. Use Google and you'll know what you need
  20. Those are the 8x Verbatim blanks (MKM-003-00 dye) and your burner doesn't like them, or it's doing a bad job burning them at 4x. You could try 6x or 8x to see if they work. You'd have better chances with the 2.4x Verbatim blanks (MKM-001-00 dye). You should also try a lens cleaning disc on that drive to rule out dirty lens as the problem.
  21. Try again with a brand new disc, it could be just a bad disc. You may also want to try burning at 6x or 8x.
  22. The lens are very exposed on a laptop drive, and, as such, they get dirty pretty easily. If you can't get it to work I think your only option would be to buy an external burner
  23. That's an LG burner, and ImgBurn automatically booktypes +R media on LG burners, provided that the burner supports it. Also, all newer burners booktype DVD+R DL media to DVD-ROM by themselves, so I don't think you need to worry about this. If you insert a burned disc the booktype is shown under "Physical Information (Last Recorded)". Can you post a log of a failed burn? Look in ImgBurn's Help menu.
  24. Try a lens cleaning disc on that drive. Where are your Verbatim blanks made? It's printed on the box/packaging/spindle.
