Newbie getting "Oh No" spoken error

Just installed imgburn.

 

Dell xps 13 with Win8.1 and Samsung external DVD /RW

 

Put source DVD into drive...selected create image file from disc.

 

Then I get an "Oh No" sound bite...

It shouldn't be trying to save there.... point the destination file somewhere else you are allowed to write to. (i.e. your 'Documents' folder)

I created a destination folder on my desk top and tried to write to it....

indicate to me that you're trying to read a copy protected disc.

 

 

Is this a DVD movie disc that you're trying to copy?  If so and it's copy protected, ImgBurn won't read it.

 

 

If it's not, then I'd blame the Samsung drive.  Samsung is known for making lower quality drives.
