LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 There's no 100% fix for this. It's the price you pay for going 'external'. Sometimes there's just a problem with the controller/enclosure/drive talking nicely to eachother. Just google "The semaphore timeout period has expired" and you'll see what I mean.
BoSox2882 Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Thats weird it wouldn't even start the burn. you definitely shouldn't try burning MAX speed on USB.
dontasciime Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Try wnaspi32.dll and switch i/o to wnaspi32 in ImgBurn settings. if you have Nero installed just search for wnaspi32 if not then download it from Nero site or google. Change the enclosure but your run the risk of this error again
