  1. volvo, I updated the setup program on the ImgBurn mirror and erdoke confirmed that one didn't raise the false alarm.
  2. That option during the install is nothing to do with DVD Shrink, it's to do with explorers context menus. There is a sticky at the top of this forum that talks about DVD Shrink.
  3. Either way you'd have the same problem. No time would probably just register as 12 o clock. So with the timezone stuff you'd still be out by x hours.
  4. Do you know if you're actually using that link controller? You could always just remove that entry from the filters list (backup the reg key first), reboot and then try imgburn again. As I'm sure I've mentioned before, I have no problems with my nforce4 board. Mine is a dfi lanparty one.
  5. Aww shucks I looked around all the forums etc and tried to find little things people wanted but nobody else offered. Easy overburning from files was one of them - although I never fully understood why it wasn't possible with other software - it must just be a limitation they've added to stop people from creating coasters. As ImgBurn isn't really aimed at people who don't know what they're doing (at least on some level), i'm perfectly happy to just inform the user that it probably won't fit on the disc and let them make the final decision to go ahead and burn it or not!
  6. Redownload from the ImgBurn mirror site. That one should be ok - not that it was ever a real virus in the first place!
  7. Redownload the program from the ImgBurn mirror, I've reverted to a different version of PECompact (+ fixed a few other bits!) and it should be fine.
  8. I'd like to one day but I have things that might get in the way.
  9. This has been fixed in the latest build on the 'ImgBurn' mirror - as found on the 'Downloads' page.
  10. During the parsing of the filesystem at the 'Verify' stage, the program can attempt to read too much from the file (if it's very small) and so you get an 'end of file reached' (or words to that effect) error message.
  11. Forget folder2iso, just copy the data off that dvd to your hdd in explorer. Make a nice folder for them called 'presentation' or something. So then you'll have the audio_ts + video_ts folders in a folder called 'presentation'. Then load imgburn and point the 'Build' mode source stuff towards the 'presentation' folder. You can probably figure out the rest by reading the guides corny pointed out.
  12. You can't do that I'm afraid! Part of the date structure includes a timezone offset. If you don't set it correctly the files will always show in UTC time. Windows etc uses the timezone part of the structure to ensure you (the end user) see the right time. i.e. if you select 8pm as a time and I write that in the file attributes, if I don't also specify 10 hours timezone offset (if you're in Oz), then you see files (in explorer) with times of 10am (or 6am... can't remember which!)
  13. Yup, I'd never stop that working and I'm sure r0lZ won't remove that functionality from PgcEdit.
  14. Stick it in a text file and upload that. Sorry, I know it's a pain! lol
  15. Honestly... I have no idea how to play data like that, that's why it's not capable of doing it!
  16. Internally, the two look the same to the burning feature. Either the program supplies the write thread with formatted data from lots of little files it's reading (i.e. from 'build' mode) or it supplies it data from an ISO file (i.e. from 'write' mode). They both essentially reach the burning feature as if it was an ISO file. It really sees no difference between the two.
  17. I had actually done that in an initial beta but then removed it as it complicated the command line stuff - which expects the exact same text to be passed. It does default to it though so maybe we'll get away with it
  18. Might aswell do it while I'm here and in the mood!
  19. Damn, good find! I must have forgotten to link that up properly when I added it! I've fixed it in an updated build on the ImgBurn download mirror.
  20. Cool, I'll have the new version (using older compression tool) sent round to the mirrors then
  21. I think we're replying to posts at the same time here but just to make things clear, I've recompressed the ImgBurn.exe with an older version of PECompact so that one might work - especially if 1.3.0.0 loaded ok as I'm using the exact same version of PECompact again now.
  22. Ok, try downloading it again from the ImgBurn mirror. I've reverted to an older version of PECompact. (Be sure to get one direct from the server and not a cached one! - i.e. check the 2 setup files are different) Your AV software might not moan about that one.
  23. Hmm I wish I knew! About all you can do is report the false alarm to them and hope the next definitions fix it.
  24. Redownload it from the ImgBurn mirror and it should fix your dates problem.
  25. Indeed, IfoEdit calculates the offsets as if no gaps were present. The offsets ImgBurn calculates are correct for the files in the image / on the disc. So basically, you've nothing to worry about.
