The error message itself would be handy! Also, a copy of the log. You can turn that specific eject off, but that's besides the point here if it's erroring out. It shouldn't error out

Ok, same thing as before then. I wasn't sure if perhaps the error just came from something during the real burn - i.e. some weird media values passed to the function. Unless I've fixed something since 1.1.0.0 without realising it, I can't see where the error is coming from.

I was talking CPU speed. As USB is CPU hungry it might make sense. The little program controlling the CPU speed probably isn't seeing 'burning' as actual work, hence it's slowing the machine down to conserve battery.

Try turning off any power management stuff you've got running. It's probably speed stepping down to 100mhz or something!

That forum is locked down to me and the beta team. I'm trying to keep all posts in that forum roughly the same. Saves people having to reinterpret the results in order to compare things Graph wise, you must already know the PIE/PIF side of things. The 'speed' graph is just to show you how the drive burns the disc - drop offs are where it's slowed the burn down - probably to minimise errors. The little dips you see now and then are where WOPC kicks in to check the burn quality. You'll notice the pioneer does that quite a lot compared to the other drives.
