  1. Don't forget, highlight/select the stream first AND THEN click the Demux option. The options are on a per stream basis and so only apply to the one selected at the time.
  2. You probably didn't select 'Demux' for the stream.
  3. Only if you've got a directshow filter installed that'll convert it to the appropriate format for burning. To be honest, I've no idea if such a thing exists - AC3 Filter might do the job though. Failing that, just google 'AC3 to WAV' or 'AC3 to MP3' etc. Once you've got the audio in that format, it should be pretty simple - just follow the Audio CD guide.
  4. No, the default settings work fine. That's why they're the defaults
  5. Ok well the first thing is that you shouldn't be on 2.5.2.0. Install the latest version - I fix lots of stuff between versions, even if you don't think you've come across any problems... you probably have. No, it just means that the cell starting on the 2nd layer is going to be marked as 'seamless' when normally a player might always expect them to be 'non seamless'. Being marked as 'seamless' and yet physically non-seamless (because of the transition from L0 to L1) can throw some players off and cause them to hang etc. It's one of those things that either works or doesn't and you only find out which by actually trying it. The line you're seeing with ''SPLIP' Flag Not Set' is just there because that's the (original) basis of the layer break position. It doesn't and isn't supposed to reflect that you've opted for a seamless layer break, that's covered in the 'SPLIP: No -> Yes' bit above it.
  6. Turn your machine right off and on again.
  7. Did you do that? Your drive / firmware only supports 'MEI-T01-001' discs at 2x. Sure, it can burn other MIDs at faster speeds, but not that one. Rather than terminating the verify after that first error, it would be good to see what else (if anything) comes up in later sectors - so hit continue/ignore next time rather than abort/cancel.
  8. Yes it'll just reinstall it without you needing to provide anything.
  9. It's not possible. Use a CD-RW or a Virtual Burner. Some Virtual drive programs will support compressed audio when mounting a CUE, you'd have to research that yourself to see if any of them support what you use.
  10. ImgTools and ImgBurn are two totally different things and this place is for ImgBurn only.
  11. Please refer to the last 2 lines of my previous post.
  12. I've removed that filter driver using ImgBurn several times. It really shouldn't be that important. Did you uninstall 2.5.0.0 before installing 2.5.7.0 ? Make sure the SPTI enumeration option in the I/O tab within the settings is set for 'Device Interface'. Then if you could post a new log I'd appreciate it. Even more so if you have one where it's coasting after not being able to lock the drive - try it on a DVD-RW or DVD-R with test mode enabled (to save wasting a disc).
  13. Did you ever try removing that filter driver from the list? I've seen it cause problems before. Anyway, you still shouldn't be using an old version like that, it's over 3 years old and there have been tons of bug fixes since then.
  14. Use the current version of the program. That error wouldn't be causing a coaster, it hasn't even started burning anything.
  15. It tells you about truncated or modified file names in the log doesn't it? That's what the Log window is there for.
  16. Like I said, you want Build mode. So click the 'Mode' menu and then 'Build'. Do you know what you have to do after that or are you going to attempt to 'wing' it?
  17. To 'make' anything you use Build mode. The 'Bootable Disc' tab can be found within the 'Advanced' tab.
  18. Is the buffer actually filling back up? It looks like there's some problem reading from the souce files. Perhaps try creating an ISO first and then burn that. Try running chkdsk on your source drive too and have it scan for bad sectors.
  19. On a proper Audio CD (not MP3 data disc etc) ? Fill out the CD-TEXT stuff when you make the CUE. It's all in the guide.
  20. If it doesn't like burning 'RITEK-F16-01' discs, buy some different (better) ones and try those instead.
  21. Your drive has done a bad job of burning those 'MBIPG101-R05-01' discs. Try again at a slower speed - 8x or whatever. Try buying better discs. The 'TDK' name on them doesn't mean anything, it's the MID/dye ('MBIPG101-R05-01') that's important. Try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc. If all else fails, invest in a new drive. Yours must be 8+ years old now.
  22. Try the other supported write speeds. Try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc. Try discs from another spindle. If all else fails, get yourself another drive.
  23. Your drive is reporting a 'Write Error' as it attempts to burn the disc - that's is its problem and nothing to do with ImgBurn. Have you tried at all of the supported Write Speeds? Notice 4x isn't one of them. If it's just unable to burn at 8x in DAO mode, you may have to try the 'Incremental' Write Type instead - but again, this is purely a drive/firmware/media combo issue. You could also try enabling the 'Perform OPC Before Write' option in the settings.
  24. Is the 'preserve full pathnames' option enabled?
  25. ASS2 is not for your drive (probably for another manufacturer of laptop), you'd need 1.02 or something. As updating the firmware isn't an option, try the other recommendations in that thread.
