  1. Does that translate to something roughly like - 'how do I recover the space that has been taken up by the spare areas so I can burn a larger ISO to my BD-RE again?' ? Answer: Full erase it again having enabled the option to format without spare areas.
  2. You're going to have to take this up with Samsung.
  3. Does your Samsung say it plays BD-RE 25GB discs? If it's playing the 50GB ones ok, I'd assume it should be able to handle the 25GB ones too. Maybe it requires the discs to be formatted with spare areas enabled (or disabled) ? Is the firmware on your burner and player up to date? To me, it sounds like you should be asking Samsung why their player won't play content on a BD-RE 25GB disc that works just fine on other discs.
  4. The first error is the real one. So basically, your drive said it couldn't write to the disc (for whatever reason). Update the firmware on your drive and try burning at the other supported write speeds. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/WH10LS30/files.html
  5. You don't. Extract the contents of said ISO files and merge them via whatever means is required to have them functional, then make a new ISO.
  6. It's probably due to the media you're burning it to (DVD+R instead of DVD-R?) and because your drive is rounding up the number of sectors being burnt to the nearest 16 (1 ECC block).
  7. Unless you're just backing up the ISO file to a disc, there's only 1 way of burning it...using Write mode (write image file to disc).
  8. You need to post the log - as per the pink box up the top.
  9. All we really needed was for you to copy + paste what's written in the log window.... FAR easier than having to watch a video! Go into the settings and click the 'Restore Defaults' button. Click 'Yes' to reset all of them. Load your image and burn to a *new* disc. Use decent discs, not what you're using there. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  10. I've already replied to your email. Please pick one method of communication or the other. I replied with... Can you please provide me with the disc info from the panel on the right when you try and burn it.
  11. Wouldn't your player just sort them by their name? If so, just name them appropriately. 01 - video.avi 02 - video.avi 03 - video.avi etc...
  12. It *may* help but there's really no way of knowing without trying it! Buy one from somewhere with a 'no questions asked' returns policy
  13. Or you could make it smaller using something like BD Rebuilder.
  14. Ah well, it was worth a try. Ditch the Samsung drive and get something else
  15. If your drive can't read it and you don't have access to another drive in another computer, you're kinda stuck. It could be a faulty disc or some sort of copy protection.
  16. Your drive can't read the disc. Is it dirty/scratched at all? If you have access to another drive, try reading the disc in that instead.
  17. If the drive won't see your cleaning disc, you'll have to attempt cleaning it manually. I'm sure you can Google for how to do that. If it still doesn't work, get yourself a new drive.
  18. I know what you're using and what speed you're burning at, I can see all that in the log. Obviously 2.4x isn't working, hence why I said to try 4x. The discs are rated for 8x burning so there's no problem (with overspeeding etc) if you try 4x. The drive may actually do a better job at 4x than it's doing at 2.4x. Yes, your drive could be the issue... that's why I said to try cleaning it. If using discs from a new spindle (of the same MKM-003-00 type) and cleaning the drive doesn't help, consider investing in a new drive.
  19. Try again with the newer SB07 firmware. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/SH-S223C/files.html
  20. Your drive is having trouble with the disc. Try some discs from a different spindle and/or cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc. You may also like to try it with the write speed set to 4x. Service Pack 2 is out for Windows Vista btw, you should install it.
  21. You're attempting to overburn on non Verbatim media... expect issues.
  22. CD-DA is always 2352 bytes per sector. Use the 'Sector Viewer' feature when you're in Read mode to manually try and read beyond LBA 1237. You'll have to click the 'RAW' button or it will error out all the time. Let me know what it says.
  23. It's unlikely the drive would allow the (any) software to read beyond what it's reporting for the disc capacity - i.e. sectors 0 - 1237 (1238 in total)
  24. Verify your burns to make sure they're at least readable in your burner.
  25. It works fine here and all the files are present and correct.
